    Whew!

Unreal. Yet, ump called strike three on ball for to Kiersay.

It looked like Jeffers took a foul ball off his finger last night and was having some issues with it.

I read somewhere that he went home to attend a friend’s funeral.

Difference in this game….Twins twice had a runner on third and less than two outs, neither came in. Royals had two runners on third and less than two outs, both scored.

Tough to win when your 2-3-4 hitters go 0-12.

In this case, it hit the ground and then bounced off Perez and then hit Buxton.

I mean DFA, not released, yet.

McGaughen released and Blewett brought up. I was hoping for Zebby to come up and piggyback with SWR today, sending down Varland for a couple weeks.

And, SWR is starting tomorrow, who is not known to go very deep in games.

Thank you for doing this. It is such a treat to be able to read and soak in the information of these reports every morning.

I agree. In the fourth inning of a tied game, I would rather give up one run for one out.

Today is Buxton’s sixth straight start in CF including today’s day game after a night game. Probably the best news of the first week of season.

He played in the field tonight at 2B. Since he’s been mostly DH all spring, I’m assuming they didn’t want him to play a full 9 innings.

Is it too early to start discussing who will be the top choices to be moved?
  16. SD happy
That’s four three run home runs in the last two games. And, we’re only in the second inning.

Didn’t Paddock say the cold weather will be an advantage for him because he does a lot of duck hunting??
  18. SD happy
I guess I was basing it on that he has had some major league experience and the few at bats I saw this spring it seemed like he hit the ball hard every time. That’s all.

Starting pitching will be fun to follow. I’m a little surprised Alan Cerda is not on the roster.

Stewart threw 22 pitches. That was probably the max amount they wanted him to throw today.

I think most of us are in agreement that the starting five in St Paul will be a young, solid and exciting staff to watch. Who do we project to be the starting five in Double A? Culpepper, Ohl, ??
  22. SD happy
And, you forgot Andrew Morris. Watching St Paul will be a lot of fun this year. Remember other years when we would have to bring in one or two mlb retreads just to fill out the starting five in triple A.

This time last year we pretty much knew what the starting lineup would be, especially the infield. 3B - Lewis, SS - Correa, 2B - Julien and 1B - Santana. This year the only one we can be sure about is SS - Correa. Yes, it will be an interesting and fun spring.

Hate to say it, but you have to give Cleveland a lot of credit this year. When Bieber went down early in the season, I thought whatever chance they had to win division was probably done. It goes to prove what timely hitting and exceptional bullpen will do for you. Also a couple of key additions at trade deadline….Boyd and Thomas

Exactly. Sometimes you have to be careful what you wish for.
