  1. I put Wallner in the same spot as Miranda at this point, they should be in AAA until they prove again they shouldn't be. Neither plays defense well enough to make up for hitting slumps and neither has been anywhere close to consistent enough to think they should be playing on a team that isn't planning on finishing last in a division. Obviously injuries have made it where those decisions have mostly been taken away as we need bodies, but unless they get hot before some IL time ends I don't see a reason to stick with either.
  2. Learn from Correa not Farmer and Castro Eddy!
  3. I would agree with everyone else, the Twins don't like to rapidly promote players so assuming he stays hot or at least above average I would guess somewhere in the June to July window. I would imagine the thinking is let AA pitchers adjust to him on the hot streak and see if they find a hole he can work on there, and if not move him along. I agree though the MLB roster could certainly use anyone on any sort of hot streak stepping into the box, especially from the outfielders.
  4. yeah I don't mind Miranda for Vazquez feels like the same hitter, both make contact relatively often but with not great results. But Santana and Wallner right now I don't know if there's anyone on the AAA roster I wouldn't pick over those two
  5. I just can't believe Rocco was like bottom 9 we gotta make sure Santana and Wallner get up, my two hottest hitters combined they hit like .150
  6. Rocco knows this guy throws harder than 60 right?
  7. yeah I don't know how a guy takes a half step, waits for the ball and jabs at it, then doesn't get the error
  8. early in the first game, Provus said Rocco was going to rotate Castro and Farmer,. I would guess slightly more Castro with Farmer at 3rd since I think both are a little better in those spots
  9. Hey turns out wallner just needs a 60 mph fastball to make contact
  10. if my math skills hold thats a whopping .012% chance of 4 hits in a row
  11. There has to be someone we can swap Wallner on the 40 man, the guy looks totally lost at the plate
  12. Twins are now 0-10 to start the year with pinch hitters
  13. absolutely, terrible jump and bad route, and didn't look like he ran hard once
  14. probably saving him to pinch hit for someone and then move castro to the OF and Farmer to SS, don't necessarily agree but only thing I can think of
  15. We were going to throw out Deslafani so not too big of a shock Maeda is still going haha
  16. Maeda going to finish a shutout on 60 pitches at this rate haha
  17. the OPS column for 7-10 guys on the roster looking like batting averages certainly would suggest so
  18. Man Santana looks like he's just flailing trying to keep the bat around the plate as long as possible hoping he somehow makes contact
