    Speaking of the pen, what did we get for Rogers other than the “starter we needed” who immediately blew out his elbow? The FO has done some good but San Diego saw them coming on that one.

    I expected no less. Bad stupid beats like our last lead to losing streaks and maybe season unraveling. If they pull it now maybe the opposite .

    My new topic is an old topic we have many of us been gagging on for several days now. Many times if I carp or pick at Rocco I know that I may be missing something, he might have a bigger perspective etc. Not this time. We had a chance to gain two in the standings versus the Sox (3-0 versus 2-1 ) in the recent series. Why in the world did he not send Duran out for the 9th after he mowed them down on few pitches in the 8th? I reluctantly bow to him on all this saving them for important games late in season stuff. But this was a super important game. Why could he not realize THIS was late in the season and what he was saved for? Now Duran is ready for a so-so game against Texas that he might not be needed for anyway. If it comes down to where we needed those two games in the end but didn’t have them we will remember this colossal miscalculation. That being said, I like Rocco and don’t want him fired. But I have never wanted any Twins manager fired. I just want them to do better and avoid huge blunders.

    No Duran for a second inning though he threw just a few pitches. No PH for Jeffers when you have great options on the beach. Come on! If Rocco has some long game reasoning (I’ll go with this stuff a lot assuming he knows better than me) but there is no way this wasn’t just plain dumb. Sometimes you gotta realize how big this one game was.

    Sox could have pushed down so far they might have never recovered. Can you imagine how it could help their morale? Thanks manager.

    There must be a reason for no ph for Jeffers. There better be.. And now we see he puts in a guy with control problems to finish off the big screwup. Wild pitch was in predictable. Why not Duran again? And a bunch of other why nots. This one is on the manager . Very bad. Half a dozen dumb moves.

    Couldn’t have PH for Jeffers. There’s a high percentage for scoring in this dumb runner already on second deal. Doesn’t look good. Had a chance to push the Sox into the ditch.

    So close to having Cleveland and Sox well in the rear view mirror and keeps slipping.

    Sure is nice Pagan has already been in to blow his customary crooked number lead.

    Why is it like pulling teeth all the time even with Duran now?

    Unless they let Pagan keep pitching and he walks the first two batters this should be a big win. 1 1/2 on Cleveland and one on the Sox. Could set them up for the whole month.

    Pitching like the designated runner on second base means anything with a three run lead. Real thinking there.

    Three run lead and that dummy nibbles and starts the disaster with a walk. No telling how big this is for Cleveland long term. Thanks Pagan. I guess you can’t expect thinking from a guy who gets his medical advice according to what some Yahoo on Facebook says his cousin says.

    Jeffers has his shortcomings. Framing pitches that don’t need it then muffing it . Pathetic. Go Cotton out savior.

    We are going to lose. Pagan is pathetic. Batting practice strikes are better than walks. You have an excellent chance to get an out. Walk = no chance. How can he be so dumb?

    Here we go. Wild pitch and he falls apart. How can he be so dumb as to not throw strikes.. Let’s up Ramirez for sure.
