  1. Taj's productivity this year compares pretty well with Nick Martinez and Drew Rasmussen, for example.
  2. I have gone from wanting to keep Jeffers for 2027, to bidding him farewell with a smile.
  3. Overturned the HBP ruling and he struck out several pitches later
  4. 3.79 ERA and 1.08 WHIP w/34 K's and 8 BB in his last 7 games.
  5. Well, you blamed recency bias for Taj getting positive comments after last night. In reality, he has earned almost twice as much WAR as his closest teammate. That's a measure of the productivity in entire season.
  6. Everybody knows where to pitch Royce, too...
  7. Your complaint should be addressed to whoever calculated 4.3 WAR for Taj and 2.7 WAR for Brooks.
  8. There's the high heater to get Brooks again
  9. Why the down vote? This is measured by WAR only. 4.3 to 2.7.
  10. If you eliminate Buck, Taj Bradley is easily the team MVP with Brooks a distant second.
  11. 2026 MVP based on WAR looks like this 1 Taj, 2 Buck, 3 Brooks, 4 Jeffers, 5 Clemens, 6 Ryan, 7 Luke
  12. I love Mendez, but will he eventually profile as a 1B? He only hit 12 homers this year and his OPS was .804 at AA and AAA. But he's just 22 years old. He's 6'3" and 175 lbs. He could be a very different player at age 25.
  13. Taj is our ace heading into the spring. If we slot Pablo #2 and Ryan #3, we stack up pretty good in the Central Division. We even have some serviceable depth behind them! I believe Clemens is better in a utility/bench role than as a starter. So we ought to upgrade at 2B. I think you know where I'm going with this...
  14. I'm a huge Bohorquez fan too, but understand his season was curtailed by time on the IL. He's among a handful of farm hands worth a close study in 2027. If Quick fully makes the adjustment to AA next spring, he could be a big deal too. We must add depth to our minor league pitching corps this off-season!
