    Maybe if he is moved back to leadoff he will start drawing walks again. If he can hit .215 with 10 walks in June I'll take it.

    Danny Valencia has 2 HR's in the majors this year. Thats pretty amazing.

    We know he's not ready to hit for average yet, but since being moved down the order he has been a competent offensive player who has a leadoff hitter skill set. The best place for him right now is clearly Triple A but thats not an option. If Hicks continues to show progress throughout the year he won't be ashamed of what he put's on the back of his baseball card this year, and if we don't make a major move Hicks needs to be our opening day leadoff hitter in 2014.

    If only Gardenhire had told Willingham to hit 35 HR's again this year. We're 5 games under .500 with Willingham Hicks Parmelle and Plouffe having under performing, the pitching staff is better but still bad. Mauer and to some extent Morneau are the only bright spots but they are just having normal seasons. If they end up winning 66 games and they fire Gardenhire I will be OK with it, but we're rebuilding this is how it works, and honestly one more top 10 draft pick would be a good thing especially the way the money works with high draft picks these days.

    If we want to avoid getting through 5 those are the kind of plays that help out. Probably gotta drag 2 and half innings another 90 minutes.

    I remember first driving by Target Field and thinking it looked like a cookie cutter stadium. It's a different story once you go in and sit in the last row in the third deck and realize you are closer to the action then being in the 22nd row down the third base line in the dome. I don't goto football games so I don't care but for a billion dollars the end product is going to be pretty spectacular.

    I suppose George Bush was a Republican but come on we complained about this stuff when it happened. Maybe not the partisan types but the tea party types sure did.

    If Benghazi is what we would hope it is (nothing more then the talking points scandal) then I agree. The key question is why was ambassador Stevens in that location that day. Who sent him there, why was he told his purpose there was. I think I know what was going on in Benghazi and if you are willing to do your own research it's not that hard for you to figure out what was going on as well. If you still trust this president let him frame the facts.

    Not at all illegal. Maybe something certain politicians would like to see made illegal, but as the courts have ruled this is a freedom of speech issue. This is the way groups like this organize and raise funds. If the rules were different these groups would organize different, but they aren't gonna go about it the way John McCain and Harry Reid wish they would simply because that might seem more fair. McCain Fiengold was noble legislation but it didn't work and according to the courts it's not legal.

    I'm not a Republican, have you seen the last two candidates the Republicans put up for president? I have voted Republican for president or governor exactly one time in my life. If Rand Paul is the Republican nominee in 2016 I will vote Republican again. If not good luck to them, and enjoy another loss.

    By the way I googled "the tea party website" the web site you cited didn't come up. But if you're politics require you to believe we hate gays I guess you have to do what you have to do.

    Anyone can put up a tea party website or start a tea party organization. We are tea party for the same reason the original tea party occurred. I'm sure many in that group back then were slave owners, I'm sure many thought the idea of slave ownership was pathetic. By the way traditional family values are a good thing, two parents who teach morals to their children is a lot better then most family situations these days. I don't happen to care about the sex of the two parents, but if someone else does is that any reason to oppose their fiscal stances to the point that the likes of Barrack Obama and Mark Dayton get voted into office?
