  1. Don't be so greedy. A Lewis grand slam is enough for me.
  2. Time to give Rocco some credit for the quick hook this season.. Lopez is throwing 97 tonight. It's like they left a lot of gas in the tank for the playoffs.
  3. can we end the game now with a Twins 1-0 win?
  4. The Texas outfielders are making me appreciate the Twins outfield defense. Looks like Delmon Young, Oswaldo Arcia and Josh Willingham in the outfield at the same time.
  5. Personally, I'd go with 1. Lopez 2. Gray 3. Maeda 4. Ober or Lopez(depending on the series standing) Ryan has not looked good lately, I don't think he has hit 93 in over a month.
  6. He hit 98 according to the field radar gun. He was clearly the best pitcher of the day, for either team. However, he has pitched 5 innings total in the bigs this year, I'm not counting on him eating a lot of high pressure innings in the playoffs.
  7. Mrs Z and I will be attending the game in Denver. It is very windy today, warm and dry air. Take the over on 13 total runs scored!
  8. IMG_4841 video of Larnauchs grand slam.
  9. I’m at the game. Paddock’s pitches sound heavy. 11 minute fireworks show last night after the game, to bad for the Rockies the Twins won that game.
  10. Um nope. I was at the game and Polo went down after a swing and miss strike three and left the game.
  11. 83 is my magic number. And winning the division. Just for old times sake how about 87 wins and 75 losses?
  12. You won't catch me wearing out my body running or doing cardio. What kind of blizzards are we eating tonight?
  13. You are not wrong. I have no idea how long he has been doing that. Now watch, in his next at bat he will not do it!
  14. Lewis sure looks like he has seen the last of AAA.
  15. Now is not the time to rest on their laurels. The Twins have not won the division yet. Win it and then they can coast to game 162. With the limited expanded rosters there's only so many down days available for the players anyhow. As Terry Ryan used to say, somebody has to play the innings.
  16. magic number for the playoffs is 10. Magic number is 7 for over 83 wins on the season. I think Willie Castro is the MVP of the Twins for the season.
  17. Does Vazquez kknow he does not have to swing at every pitch?
  18. 9 more wins for the magic number of 83. 15 more combined Twins wins and Cleveland losses for the division title. And tonight a win with Keuchle on the mound against the Met's best pitcher. Hope springs eternal!!
  19. Remember to stare at her eyes, not her heart.
  20. "The only way to pitch to Rogers Hornsby is low and behind him". Grover Cleveland Alexander
  21. Pagan....ball 4....ball 8 ....ball 12 with a 1 run lead
  22. Plus one. I believe in Buxton. I always thought he 'could' be this generations Willie Mays. Watching him play outfield is a thrill in itself. I plopped down some $ on him winning the MVP this year at 33 to 1. Oops. I hope he can get his knee back to where he needs it ot be to play ball but his long term future is more important. He has kids and I would like to see him be able to coach them in little league.
  23. I have no choice, if I want to listen or watch the game it's Bremer and Smally. I really miss Blyleven.
  24. Pagan time. Chits about to get real.
