Keashall's arm is better than Ben Revere but getting the same results.

Brewers certainly taking an extra base on Keashall's arm.

a bit off topic but in releation to Joe Ryan being placed on the 10 day IR: Hunter Greene placed on the 10 day IR today also with sore elbow.

It also doesn't show Culpepper having any hits against him... Lies, damn lies and statistics.

another opinion or perhaps fact: the only way to tell if these half measure trade deadline dealings did indeed improve fan interest and bought some good will is if the game ticket sales go up. I'm also in the camp of 'pick a lane' but trades can and could happen in the off season for Joe Ryan and Larnauch/Lewis if the Twins offer them arbitration. If the Twins would have traded both Ryans, Larnauch and Bell (4 players) I think there would have been as much angst as last year when they traded 10 guys.

I can't find his quote but Falvey used a phrase close to "sustainably competing" meaning that year after year they are winning more than using. The Twins do have to draft better than the other clubs......but doesn't every club think that same thing? One club that would not have to draft better is the Dodgers and they seem to have a top 5 minor league system year after year.

they sure sucked for a lot of years even with Cal Ripken.

was it RiverB that was complaining a couple of nights ago that the shapely girl advertisements were interupting his reading? Not sure if the reading was TD or Playboy......

I agree, the Jays should have given Gausman to the Twins as a bonus on the Varland deal.

That trade would certainly show us fans the 'no half measures' Tom P talked about last spring. If you're going to be buyers do it if you're able. Quit with the half measures stuff.
