  1. When your best relief pitcher in 2026 was the 5th best in 2025 I'm not sure you can define roles quickly. You can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear.
  2. Nor put one foot in front of the other quickly.
  3. Looks like some of the fans have left for a warmer place to sit.
  4. "Here's a headline you don't see every day." Not on my bingo card.
  5. Not soon. Potential is the word here. He has a ton of it so they may give him all season long to find it by platooning him and giving him the best matchups to find himself and some confidence.
  6. I like that they waited until mid May to send Wallner to St Paul. He can not grumble that he did not have a fair chance to turn his season around. I can't see SWR suddenly improving. Opposing hitters are sitting on a breaking ball and mashing it. He is out of options and does not have bullpen quality pitches so a very hard conversation will have to be had unless he suddenly has to go to the IL. Lewis is next up for 'the conversation'.
  7. mrtwinsfan, I know it did not help you but at least Lee gave it a ride.
  8. The list of pitchers with electric stuff but struggle to throw strikes is endless. I hope Rojas does not end up on the list.
  9. Falvey thinks lefty hitting or pitching is worth double of righty hitting or pitching so we fleeced the Jays with the trade.
  10. Naw, Hendricks isn't old enough for the Twins to take a chance on him.
  11. To paraphrase Terry Ryan "the games are 9 innings and somebosy has to play the game".
  12. Chatterberry mentioned yesterday afternoon that Lewis is 'working on his swing'. Hopefully he is working with the hitting coach. He just can not help but try to pull the ball, no matter how far outside the pitch is located.
  13. If Correa's contract was insured against injury then the Twins lost 33 million. Playing him 33 million to play elsewhere signaled they do not "really" plan to compete for a championship anytime soon. No matter what T-3 said.
  14. Ya know, I enjoyed last nights double digit game a lot more than I'm enjoying tonights game.
  15. Sorry, I missed it. I tune Span out. 48 years of marriage pays off.
  16. Wallner in the dugout looking like someone stole his lunch money.
