  1. As most, I'm HOPING for better results from our players however, they are all most likely unachievable with this roster! This could be said of all the second base, right field, shortstop, first base, bullpen articles on this site. It reminds me of the movie "No Country For Old Men". "It's a mess, ain't it, Sheriff?". Reply: "If it ain't, it'll do till the mess gets here."
  2. As the title says, I'm in the camp that believes he should be getting more attention. Watching his highlights from last year were extremely encouraging. His numbers speak for themselves (strikeouts, WHIP, durability). His pitch mix was most encouraging watching how many of his strike outs were with his (3rd pitch) curveball. Having as many SP as they do at AA and above could help set the table for trading one of Lopez, Ober, or Ryan by the trade deadline if we are out of it, or by 2026. With trade potential to seriously address the offensive/defensive short comings of the last few years. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. first base, or a franchise catcher? We can wish.
  3. Excellent! I'm somewhat surprised that Slim Mason the bean counter who's brilliant idea was to reduce the size of the Pro Shop to 1/2 it's original design did not make the list. He also is highly praised for reducing head count to a minimum by having two less security personnel for theft reduction, and three less checkout clerks to maintain a bottleneck when trying to exit the joint.
  4. Please for the love of God, find a hitting coach that can help them identify pitches that are breaking down! All off season should be spent at DriveLine, machines, or pitchers throwing breaking balls down so they can recognize the spin and lay the F==+ off these pitches. We were the worse team last year at striking out, and the last 2 months of the regular season we sucked. Learn how to recognize a ball that is breaking down and state the hell away from it. For sure we would be a BETTER TEAM, even if we just took the pitches!
  5. TOPA, TOPA, TOPA. I can see our fans in September
