    My theory is it is less about Jose and more about they wanted Twins to pinch hit for Wallner, kirilloff, Julien early in the game so they aren't available against righties in late innings. Basically trying to take advantage of Rocco's penchant for platooning. Platooning only works once then you have an empty bench.

    Just hope there isn't TJ #3. Not a lot of pitchers with track record of 2 TJs. Fingers crossed but need a rotation 6 or 7 deep like this year.

    Sonny is a really good pitcher love to have him on the team. If I had thing I don't like is how many pitches he needs to get through 5 innings, and therefore 5+ innings he is done. Rest is up to the bullpen, sometimes good sometimes awful. Reminds me of Jake Odorizzi in 2019 never able to go 7.

    I am just relieved Ludlow is not on the list.

    I would go with Maeda over Ryan for game 3. Just look at how they have pitched in the last month. Couldn't be more different and clarifying.

    Yep. Given where we are and how many prospects it will cost, think it's better to move one of the starters (Maeda?) to the Bullpen and add Dallas Keuchel as a starter. Get rid of Moran and replace him with Thielbar.

    I don't understand. Doesn't he have a contract through the end of the MLB season? How can coach resign in the middle of the season if Twins don't let him out of his contract?
