  1. I think he was out on that, but I agree that there wasn't clear enough evidence to overturn it. If he had been called out and we had challenged it, they wouldn't have overturned it either.
  2. I guess the loser would be the one footing the bill.
  3. Bartolo vs Sano vs Vargas. Who wins in an eating contest?
  4. Getting that trade value up. Atta boy.
  5. That was a super weird sound by Smalley there. If I said what it sounded like, I think I might catch a ban though.
  6. Not the Twins, but the Padres had one last season: https://youtu.be/KLwtPDdOTwg?t=36
  7. Nearest was deep short, but even still. He could've led off halfway to home and been back to third before the shortstop could've got over there.
  8. Ha, was about to say Rosario should steal home. Then he fakes it and pitcher balks.
  9. Bobbled play at short by Polanco, failure at picking up a ball in the outfield by Buxton and a throw from the edge of the outfield by Dozier that went 15 feet to the right of home plate.
  10. No one ever said logic and reasoning were required for Papelbon to want to pick a fight, as evidenced by him attempting to choke out Harper in their dugout.
  11. Papelbon will fight you over that claim. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-CxcxO9GJfkU/VBY6uw0cZhI/AAAAAAAAXto/y73aRtENvYA/s1600/MMBSPORTSNEWS%2Bcopy.jpg
  12. Good lord, are they even trying? That throw from Dozier was 15 feet away from home plate, from the edge of the outfield grass.
  13. Polanco error. Hit to center scoring a run. Buxton error on the play allowing a second run to score.
  14. Our defense has been embarrassing as hell this last week.
  15. Dozier should be riding the pine today for that base running. He was barely even jogging until he was halfway to first base. And speaking of throwing a fit, I would've liked to see Paul show a little fire the other day when Sano got ejected after getting rung up on a terrible pitch too. Say what you will about Gardy, but at least the players knew he had their backs and that he was going to fight for them. Maybe it's just because I watch hockey too, where the coaches are much more prone to fits of rage, but I think seeing the manager get fired up can often fire up a team thats beaten down. If the manager seems like he doesn't give a damn, and the "leader" of the team is playing like he doesn't give a damn, why should we be surprised when the younger guys start dialing it in too?
  16. So, which of our 6 mop up guys is going to come in next inning?
  17. Good lord, what is going on here? Rosario drops a ball, Mejia can't put out Gomez after an 0-2 count and now Mauer drops a ball.
  18. Lot of mental mistakes so far this game. Bad throw by Buxton, bad base running by Dozier, bad catch by Rosario. Not good.
  19. And if I was Molitor I'd be benching Dozier's ass for that. Can't have one of the leaders of your team playing like that with no consequences.
  20. That was some seriously half assed base running by Dozier. Embarrassing.
  21. Is Griffin related to Jered Weaver? All these sub 70mph pitches is throwing me off. Apparently its doing the same thing to the Twin's hitters too. Edit: Spoke too soon. I guess slow tossing junk ballers don't phase Buxton.
  22. At least he can pronounce player names, unlike Bert.
