    He didnt want to risk hurting his confidence by letting him possibly give up some more runs. So, he hurt his confidence by pulling him in a game that doesn't mean a thing. Makes sense...

    I don't think Logan Schafer would bat anywhere in another MLB lineup. Yet with the Twins he gets to bat 5th. And Grossman playing DH and batting second is just insult to injury.

    Yeah, you're probably right. Overall point still stands though.

    Thats a lofty expectation, especially considering Santana is pitching better this year than his career averages, by a pretty large margin. I have no reason to believe Gibson is magically going to turn a corner and improve drastically. May is a complete question mark and it'd be foolish to assume he's a sure-fire upgrade over the mess this year. Berrios I'd expect to improve, but thats not saying much. Santiago is average at best. Looks like the makings for another bad rotation to me.

    Give it a day or two and we'll get to watch Schafer and Grossman in the outfield at the same time. Maybe if we're real lucky, in a couple weeks Santana will be back and we can play our outfield of the future.     Are you alive? Are you good at taking strike three calls? Can you throw it from left field to the very edge of the infield? If you answered yes to all of these questions, you may be qualified for Robbie Grossman's job.
