    Re: the Station 280 story, I get to a lot of bars and restaurants in town for work and can confirm that the situation is really bad. Shockingly bad. Last week I was at a bbq place while the Twins were playing and their TVs were tuned to, get this, women's MMA, food network, preseason NFL football (not the Vikings), and a Dodgers game. Not a single TV was tuned to the game. Not a single Twins cap in sight. This is normal now.

    Fried egg is awesome on a burger. I wish it was offered at more places (cough McDonalds cough). With a still runny yoke ideally.

    You are the resident tech expert, I'll defer to your opinion on the phone. I'm just amazed at the black-Friday type crowds that show up for the upgrades when perfectly functional, and much cheaper alternatives, are out there. Hell I'm still using a Galaxy 3! Good point about the contract cycle.

    The interplay between the market and the Fed has been really incredible to observe. There appear to be a range of viewpoints from voting and non-voting members. Yellen leads a group that is searching for reasons to raise rates. Kaplan and others seem focused on policies that are more globally consistent with China and European policy. Dudley, Kashkari, Tarullo and others are flat out dovish about holding rates low until inflation picks up. The latter group seems to hold sway for now but will be interesting to see what happens next year when we see turnover in voting members.

    Outside of Perkins, the Twins haven't had an impactful home grown pitching talent since Scott Baker, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Here's an outside the box idea. Trade Sano, Vargas, Park, and every other prospect for pitching. Then go balls-in on Shohei Otani. Have him start 1/5 and DH the other 4 days.

    How anyone can eat the floppy, teenage mutant ninja turtle pizza that these places put out... I don't get it. Dont' even bother, I'll cook it myself, thanks. Papa Murphy's just "gets it."

    Alright here is the deal with pizza because you are all wrong. Every pizza joint, without exception, runs too few ovens. So when you order a pizza during normal meal hours you get an expensive low-mass pie that is underdone. Even when you request it "well done," they undercook it. That's been my experience, every, time. Papa Murphys is awesome because its a cheap massive pie and the fact that you have to cook it yourself is a benefit, not a drawback. Because you can cook it properly, a half hour at least, which is about as long as it would take to get one of the aforementioned overpriced undersized gourmet fancy pizzas anyways. And Papa Murphys are made fresh to order so I don't know why people are trashing it like its some low quality product. /rant.

    That's only the half of it. How often do batters just sac atempt-themselves into two strike counts? These figures compare hitting with a man on first to the *best case* scenario of the sac atempt, and still comes out behind.
