    Last season was last season; then Cave, Rooker, Sano, Gordon should still be here; maybe when they are 35 a decision can be made. Jeffers has changed little if any, it is his bat more than his glove that has problems. Julien's defense fell apart in the Minors; Zero reason to think it will by a miracle get better in the Majors.

    Wishful thinking is a fools errand; numbers as recorded by MLB are real. If he sucks in a small sample by what mystic spell is he going to suddenly get better.😋

    His Minor League numbers, with very cloe to the same Plate apperences is down in 2024 from 2023, his single and double rate way down. His fielding preformance is way down from 2023. He is not back due to playing performance.

    Camargo is up because Farmer is on the IL; Farmer is the emergency catcher, if he is not there , there is no one else (I know of) to catch who has genuine pro experience. Blocking simply means not good enough, or not fitting a spot on the majors.

    Is there still such a thing as a truly long relief pitcher? One who can/will pitch for 3-5 innings; 5 if the starter craps-out real early.

    No, it is an award simply given to the player the judges think was he most valuble player to a team in a manner that his valu to that team exceeded any other players valu to a single team. 5 player on teams with losing records have won the MVP award.

    Why would one compart Judge to Santa, not on the same team nor play the same part of the ball field. If there was any logic to that the All-Star game would have a lot of players playing out of position as they are better than the person normally picked to be there, by analytics.😘

    That makes no sense as Miranda has played a whole two games at 1st base. 1st Base, Satana .994; 3rd Base, Miranda .958; as I said the only thing in Miranda's favor is Lewis has major problems, health and fielding wise.

    Miranda is not good at 1st or 3rd, he can relax because Lewis is worst at 3rd than he is and Lewis has problems staying on the field.

    Miranda'a 1st base defense stinks.

    Miranda top the only time he played extensively a 1st Base; Santana bottom this year.

    Lewis had a nasty slump before he went out this time; he has never played long enough to show if he is a flash in the pan or not.

    Sad about Polanco; Taylor seems to have peak and low seasons, we got him at a peak. This year he is at a low.
