  1. I first shaved my head at 23 after a 45 second $18 haircut. Lucky to have a good shape I haven't looked back.
  2. That is my point. The defense was in complete control the entire time. Number of throws is irrelevant.
  3. Do they get bonus points for less throws?
  4. The aforementioned previous arm fatigue probably a factor.
  5. Tee-ball fundamentals? We aren't trying to give the runner a chance to get close to a safe base. The pros don't play things in an "in case we mess up way". I'm oddly questioning if you know ball, but it would never occurred to me if you hadn't brought it up.
  6. Why would you give him a chance at safe harbor? Why would you assume what I know about ball? There are more characters available to explain yourself.
  7. I guess it doesn't matter how many throws they take. With no other runners on base just let him spin his wheels and get tired.
  8. Meh, that's a pitch we need him going the other way with. /s
  9. Tigers may have tried to get him back with Jobe going down.
  10. Pessimists sound correct loudly while optimists make money quietly.
  11. This would have been a good article to look around the league a bit. In division just today Ragans to the IL with a rotator cuff and Jobe getting Tommy John. The depth being relatively better than the rest of the league is the proper comparison. I haven't looked much but I'm willing to bet Festa is a better than whoever replaces Ragans and Jobe.
  12. He's much more likely to be a trade piece than a bullpen piece at this point. Upside change of scenery type deal. He's at least seven or eight deep as a bullpen option.
  13. And hitters don't seem to want their money very often.
  14. I still think they are going to send Devers to the Mariners for a big time pitcher. I don't see much I like for the Twins but what are we doing here? They are 4 games under 500 in early June. Failures, I tell you.
  15. And how often does this lead to prospect injuries? They do a really good job here in Wichita where the summer heat can make it very difficult but I can imagine they aren't all like that. I'll bet it's a factor on rehab assignments from time to time as well.
  16. Waiting for Emma and Jenkins to beat down the door.
