  1. In order tow win more games, you have to be someone who hits to some degree in the clutch or make productive outs. Hmm, did you see the stats I posted twice in this thread?
  2. How are they better objectively? Not an opinion, objective facts
  3. moving this up just to remind everyone
  4. that doesn't make me feel better
  5. Uhh, how many at bats for that .263 avg? And remember, that was against the Twins pitching staff.
  6. Wow, he is a career .166 hitter in high leverage situations. Late in close games he hits .156. Tie game he hits .179. Just what this team needed...LOL
  7. Now even more non productive outs and leaving even more runners on base. Which is exactly what this team didn't need. If both Gallo and Kepler are our corner outfielders, I will root against this FO.
  8. Gallo won't benefit a bit if you can't put the ball in play. Kepler is gone. No thanks to both Kepler and Gallo. I assume Kepler is gone. Rather have Larnach than Kepler
  9. Yeah, just more productive outs...LOL
  10. It was a bidding war with the Pirates...they offered 1 year 3 million
  11. That should be the team nickname "Minnesota Twins...home of bounceback hopefuls"
  12. If we bring him in he must produce ALOT. PERIOD
  13. I think there are are better options out there than the names mentioned.
  14. If he could hit at least .230 and 35 home runs I would be OK with it. I know the Twins were above avg in OBP. However, they also need more productive outs and better clutch hitting. I think more contact will help that, not less.
  15. Someone has to get on base. I'm sure the Pirates will make a better offer anyway.
  16. Then you don't want Kepler either, right. He hit 9 and his avg was what? 80 points lower?
  17. I'll say it again..Bientendi or bust. We don't need a .190 hitter in the lineup. We've seen enough of that.
  18. see, we can help this team if they are not going to let SP's go deep. Are you a lefty too?
