    My question is why didn't he start a game before June? I saw his Nashville numbers. Was it a service time thing or did Milwaukee think they had better options to start the season? Injury? Because the Brewers would be occupying 1st place if he were in the rotation from the start.

    He made a valid point regarding Castro AB. 3rd baseman playing back. Maybe scratch out a couple more runs. Sad part is, it's not part of Twins playbook.

    I notice during tonight's game, it appears that his colors of choice are black and yellow. I wonder if he's asking to be traded to the Pirates?

    The Twins rely heavily on shifting. I don't think the scouting is real solid. The Twins seem to give up more hits vs playing straight up.

    Carson McCusker was given a limited opportunity. As well as Keirsey. During those limited opportunities, they've had very timid approaches. If he's going to be McCrusher at the ML level he needs to be aggressive on pitches in the strike zone. Did he even hit the ball hard once? Not from what I recall. Weak contact and a passive approach wont play at the top level.

    Just like it's real easy to tell others who may not agree what to do. I read 99% of the articles. I also read that Willis response was that he was unaware that he may have been making a statement regarding his eye black color scheme so I'll take his word. I noticed it that day and Pride awareness didn't enter my mind. I thought it was more to his countries flag and that's it. So let's try to make something connect to ones own wishes. Personally I could care less. If it was to celebrate Pride awareness, thats great. If it was just his choice for that day, thats okay too.

    Do fans really watch games? Or do they just go online and see what players are doing? It doesn't matter if Buxton is 3rd or 13th in all-star voting. He WILL be selected by the AL to represent them. Stop worrying and talking about bias. He is a native Georgian and Byron will decide whether he wants that 5 day rest or play. As far as the homerun derby goes, who cares who wins or even participates? Is that even a slight if he's not asked?

    FWIW. My embedded Twins source informed me that this is exactly how it played out. Signing autographs after the game vs what happened in ST with the whole season ahead? I would think that would be way more emotional. 🤔

    I came on site extra early expecting to see 1 or 2 or 6 articles regarding this player and subject. The plain fact that he was never even close to 100% and was allowed to work himself back into form and try and get healthy at same time is just a testament to the guys steering the ship.

    Although the topic may have been short-lived. It may have a silver lining for some teams. Vaughn for Civale is a pretty good deal for the Sox to me. Vaughn had been sent to AAA. I think he was still down. But a starter for Vaughn. I think it's a good deal.
