  1. He gives up a lot of dead center home runs. Has pitches and flashes but gives up a lof of center cut hone runs.
  2. IT IS OFFICIAL. David Festa is not a good pitcher. Slim Reaper more Home Run Giver. I know he got hosed but the frequency of home runs given up is strong with Festa.
  3. I would keep Buck at 1 and bat Keaschall 2. That was where he was batting when he got hurt.
  4. I know, not a Topa fan. That guy is used to often and should be pure blowout guy now.
  5. Joe Ryan a mores established pitcher than Zebby Matthews.
  6. I think he has expectations and expects the players to hold themselves accountable, be a professional and help the team.. Do the right thing. I don't know but if Im the manager Brooks Lee butt is riding some pine for a game or two. Heck if I were Baldelli I would have Lee demoted. That guy thinks he is the cat's a$'$ at the plate for a guy not driving in many runs. He has talent but he bugs me. Seems like a guy that thinks he is a big deal. Nothing wrong with confidence but be a team guy.
  7. The radio broadcast guys on pregame scout and talk with Baldelli on the Rockies starter was to lay off the first pitch especially the left handed hitters. Not sure what part of that instruction Brooks Lee and gang missed but they don't seem to be listening or paying any attention to what is being asked or instructed from the scouting report. What is with this team that overall they really lack player plate discipline and a cohesive team hitting approach. Seems like we have a lot of guys that are doing what they want and not being team first guys. This Twins team seems full of guys that think their S and talent don't stink. Too many ego's for guys doing squadoosh at the plate.
  8. He looked like he might have pulled something. With that wince. If Wallner hurt himself he better not play that I can play hurt tough guy routine
  9. 8 runs on two out hitting tonight, by Rockies what is with all the hanging breaking pitches. I mean these home runs have all been batting practice pitches. Falvey's judgement on pitching ain't it. Twins are the same Dud they they were to end last season. These guys are playing out the string and don't seem to really care.
  10. I don't think either Lewis or Wallner should be given up on. Both need to stop striking out so much. Wallner and Lewis would be better if they start driving balls in the gaps. They don't have to crush moonshot Homer's every day to be successful. Wish Wallner would take better routes to the ball on defense.
  11. I don't like his defense, liability on plays in gaps or the wall, and he Wallner doesn't have a good defensive position to play. Maybe if offense was average you could like the below average speed and defensive gaffes with glove. It's similar thing with Eduard Julien that guy makes contact and can hit but he is a minus defender not a good defensive player.
  12. I would trade Duran. He has least amount of team control left and is least likely to sign an extension. Duran's agents gonna ask for the moon on money and term. I don't want to see him go but he is going to be hard to sign.
  13. He's both out front and late. Needs to stop moving around and bouncing so much. Way touch movement with the bat.
  14. He's not far off from hitting well just a little late on some swings. He's actually fouling off a lot of pitches, just needs to get his timing back. The guy that is really stranding a lot of runners on base is Wallner. Wallner is striking out a ton and not even moving runners over. This team needs more speed in right field and to move on from Wallner. Wallner bat's in RBI spots a lot and if you look at the first half the season he isnt driving in runs much or moving guy's over. Not good at small stuff. I'm way more frustrated with Wallner than Lewis. Wallner is pulling off the fastball instead of squaring it up. Guys got talent but he isn't putting it together.
  15. Yep, Wallner isn't a plus player in anything but throwing. Stone feet slow.
  16. WALLNER cannot even get the runner over. Stock predictable strike out from Wallner. He is a below average defender and not a great hitter.
  17. I'd like to see Raya get a shot at starting instead of this opener and then Adam's stuff after All Star break. Maybe Matthews will be back soon though.
  18. We should be so lucky the Pohlads would finally sell. Then at least all there crappy debt losses from other failed businesses like the Bring Me the News and GO radio, and Films funded that were flops, would be off the Twins books.
  19. I would take Henriquez back if we could get him for a Miranda from the Saints like prospect. Ronnie looks like he has things figured out. Not sure Marlins would give him up now though. He is pitching decent.
  20. Twins Winning a game is a felling almost forgotten. Hopefully they can go on a winning streak.
  21. Could we trade Rocco Baldelli to the Pittsburgh Pirates, they need a manager and he is an East Coast guy. I would trade Rocco to Pirates for them assuming his contract and a bag of salted peanuts. I have lost complete faith that any actions he takes will make the Twins better.
  22. I've seen videos on YouTube of him Bauer pitching for the Rojos of Mexicio city in the Mexican league. Im not advocating for the Twins to sign him. I just said MLB scouts likely watching, and it is possible a MLB team will take a flyer. With a bunch of injury's in MLB who knows there may be an owner that rolls dice. Im well aware of the scandal, court cases and SA allegations and that MLB suspended him. He did seem to be actively pitching in a professional league in Mexico over the winter. Unless those videos are fake. Back in Japan pitching with Baystars so seems to be making tax free money. At 34 years old I'm not signing him if I'm the Twins. Could see the Rays or Cubs possibly roll the dice. I doubt it would cost much to buy out or trade with the Japanese team. I mean there could be just as much as chance the Savannah Bannanas sign Bauer as a stunt.
