  1. Did you read what I wrote? Like at all?
  2. Just checking in. I was so ready to post that gif of Grandpa Simpson walking in and out of the cabaret. But hey, this score is not as bad as I thought it'd be! I mean, we're not winning in the slightest, but we're not losing. Small victories!
  3. 1. Pick the total number of broken bats in the game (players who break bats over their knee count too) - 1 2. How many total coaching visits to the mound for both teams? - 13 3. Total length of game (closest to it without going over wins) - 3:13 4. Total strikeouts in the game - 15 5. Total stolen bases for the game - 1 6. Pick the click...Choose the Twins player who will have the best night at the plate - Jorge Polanco
  4. I can't have been the only one who read "The list includes one internal option and four options with various roles throughout baseball," and thought, "Oh. So four candidates then." Right?
  5. I can see my brother in this picture. He didn't want to work today.
  6. CBU on Berrios: 3 scoreless innings, with 4 strikeouts (yay), and 2 walks (boo), to go along with 2 hits. Pitch count is pretty damn high at 64, but I'll take scoreless.
  7. Is this just this year? The eye test tells me Escobar is more solid than Polanco, but using 2016 data for Escobar probably isn't fair to his true abilities, since he's been fighting injuries all year. Or maybe my eye test is wrong. Either way, I think I'd be more inclined to compare Polanco's healthy 2016 with Escobar's healthy 2015.
  8. This would be a freakin' little league team without Dozier.
  9. Well, at least we've got Matt Albers to bail us out.
  10. So let's see. Which Gibson are we getting today?
  11. How mind blowing must it be to be a ten year old who just had Yeonis Cespedes snag a fly ball from your hands?
  12. I mean, O'Rourke against a lefty. The Mets came by it honestly. Just too bad the Twins' statistically good offense couldn't put anything together.
  13. Maybe a pitcher who is good? Just a thought.
  14. But how do we know for sure until the Mets walk off?
  15. Called that ****.
  16. Oooooooohhhhhh.
  17. Oh good, the less-talented pitcher is in. Because managin'.
  18. Way to jinx it, Jinxy McJinxerson.
  19. I didn't hear that. Say again?
