  1. Just got home, newsflash, Verlander ain't so bad.
  2. Remember that the next time we "discuss" the merits of certain "advanced" statistical measurements.
  3. Yes, you're completely innocent, a poor martyr of a poster being picked on. Or, you made a moronic post (containing no content toward the topic at hand) and are being called out for it directly rather than using the passive aggressiveness you prefer to employ.
  4. How do you even respond to something this ****ing stupid?
  5. Jeff Gray is still a lousy pitcher with no future here, that hasn't changed.
  6. Pitcherpotamus Nachos Bell Grande
  7. A couple quick questions, then I'll leave this alone. Is 200 innings "just below average" for a starting pitcher? Was a 4.00 ERA in 2008 or 2009 "just below average" for a starting pitcher? If you can answer yes to both of those questions, without making a fool of yourself in the process, I'll agree with you.
  8. A shot to the groin.
  9. No, it's the kind of response you get from someone calling out bull**** for what it is.
  10. He's no Brian Duensing.
  11. Well this is getting ugly in a hurry.
  12. Come on Ron, call for the sac bunt.
  13. LOL, third base coaches. And it didn't matter in the end.
  14. Ex-Twin, current Rochester Redwings third baseman. [/deadpan]
  15. Especially considering that games in April don't count as much as games in June.
  16. Uhhh, yeah, that's exactly what I said. Congrats on completely missing what should have been a pretty obvious point.
  17. If you're going to use WAR, please don't cite decimal places. If you do, certainly don't accompany them with statements like "better than by."
  18. He started the year with a little less than one year of service time. Assuming he never gets sent back down again, he'll have 5 more years of team control after this one.
  19. Ron Coomer all-star > Josh Willingham all-star
  20. My thought as well.
  21. If he doesn't have an option remaining you'd have to DFA him. Not that it matters, no one would claim him anyway.
  22. Good to see them hit around a lousy pitcher like they should. More quality out of Diamond, I may become a full convert yet. Perkins, wtf?
  23. If you were doing that for Diamond it might take you 5 starts just to get a buzz. Today's starters are polar opposites. Of course Sanchez hasn't exactly been Mr. Strikeout either this year, to top off his all-around suckitude.
