  1. Another little league start and Bradley is as much too blame as Lee.
  2. You’re probably right…. Just don’t understand the pushback on trying a new position if you still believe you can be part of the future.
  3. Couple thoughts on Lewis…. he seems to have an attitude problem, it’s like he’s been a top tier player for several years. Reluctant to try 2nd or 1st, I don’t understand this position when your career is possibly on the line. This is a player that could ruin team chemistry, a guy that sees himself as an all star and in reality is no where nearly as good as he thinks he is. He needs to continue to hit another month at St., Paul to get called back up, but even if he does it doesn’t necessarily translate to hitting at a MLB level, the pitching is night and day difference. If the attitude doesn’t change I hope he rakes in the minors, hits up here and us traded for anything someone is willing to give up, not sure his value is worth it.
  4. For a brief moment I was under the misguided belief that this team could contend for one of the wild card spots. I still believe that the rotation is sold, minus SWR who should not be on the team, however they have multiple everyday players that should be hanging out with SWR down in Ft. Myers or the unrestricted FA window. Carrying 4 light hitting utility guys that you routinely count on in the starting lineup that can't hit there way out of a wet paper bag is bad roster management.... I will say Clemens would have value if he was limited to 2-4 starts a week. Bell, useless, Caratini, pretty much useless although acceptable if Jeffers was healthy so I won't include him. Outman useless... Larnach seems like he believes that he is untouchable now that Wallner was sent out. I have always believed he was better than Wallner, but he has stopped hitting and is limited defensively. It's not the pitching that knocked me in the head to bring me back to reality, it's the fact this lineup doesn't make much contact, strikes out too much, little power (which is fine if you can hit, advance runners, hit with RISP, etc..) still average at best defensively, and slow. They've exceeded my expectations, but the reality became clear this series that they won't compete against quality pitching, unless they get a shutout. On to the Pirate series, win one and that was what I was looking for on this 10 game road trip.
  5. I’m anticipating that I will be going back to the chore list by the 3rd, maybe 4th inning.
  6. Gutsy perrmance from the boys tonight, lucky they got it done last night or this could have been a four game sweep. This series kind of shows there is work to do on the lineup, this Sox team is better than last series Sox team.
  7. This is an ass whooping.... looking like August 2025
  8. So this is what hard contact looks like….. lot of time left, but so far not much to get excited about.
  9. You had me until Wallner was thrown into the mix....at least Outman can field, other than that he's pretty much an automatic out.
  10. 2nd basemen looking like he hit a dispensary before the game.
  11. We have like 8 utility guys, Clemens easily the best.
  12. And just like that the losing streak to these guys likely reaches 8. Offense reverting back to last season.
  13. Can’t waste this start, not great having pretty much 4 outs each time through the lineup.
  14. Let’s score, one run might be enough the way Ryan is going.
  15. WTH is Outman doing… can’t get a minor league outfielder up soon enough for me.
  16. Ryan dealing,… need to make Burke work a little, 8 losses this year where the pitching has given up 3 or fewer runs… not tonight…. I think
