  1. Scott Diamond, P.J. Walters, Josh Willingham, and Ben Revere.
  2. I don't think anyone thought much of Dozier, who was a 24 year old at Ft. Myers, before this year. The Twins were never waiting for him to be ready because no one expected him to make the majors. I'll take Casilla over Hudson thank you very much.
  3. Wish he would have "answered the call" last night with runners on first and second and 2 outs in the 9th.
  4. Where does everyone think Buxton will start in the system next year? Advanced Rookie or Rookie?
  5. Ouch, looks like everyone has been losing quite a bit recently. Well, except the big league Twins.
  6. That's somewhat of a relief. I was hoping everyone would prove me wrong! I must only be seeing some rare cases. I'd like to get a lot of bargain bin guys tomorrow. It certainly doesn't hurt to be risky in these rounds.
  7. After today, I can't imagine that in Rounds 16 and beyond there's anybody that's really signable. I read all the time about players who were formerly drafted in these rounds that re-enter as higher picks in the next rule 4 draft.
  8. No kidding shanewahl! It doesn't help that relievers have zero value in rebuilding a franchise too. I can't complain about the Buxton pick, but this has me scratching my head.
  9. I know projections for these players sometimes turn out to be untrue, but it seem like nearly every single pitcher the Twins have drafted has ties to the bullpen. They have said they will give some of them chances to start; although, I think it's strange they haven't really drafted a "true" starting pitcher. Maybe they are hoping some of these power arm guys can be dominant, successful starters?
  10. Hendriks deserves to be called up, but right now the Twins need to find the right pitcher for him to replace. Liriano, Manship, and Blackburn should also be on thin ice. I get extremely nervous when Devries pitches and he's been relying on luck for the most part. Although, the Twins should let him enjoy a few more starts in the meantime because once he's sent down, he'll probably never come back.
  11. Thanks for the analysis. I appreciate it.
  12. 2016 for any normal MLB team. 2017 for the Twins.
  13. 7.2 million to 2.9million or less. I really like Fried. He has a great delivery. Oh, and I've been using this for slot values. http://bit.ly/LelxM2
  14. That was funny enough for me, lol.
  15. I think the Cubs will take Almora, Fried, or Appel. Oh, and take notes Buxton. That's how you reaction to being drafted (Zimmer).
  16. Scott Boras may really be costing Appel a lot of money (ironic). He's dropping slots like crazy!
  17. Oh man don't get me worried. All that fantasizing about who we get to end up with no one?!
  18. My New Top Twins Prospects 1. Byron Buxton 2. Miguel Sano 3. Oswaldo Arcia 4. Aaron Hicks 5. Eddie Rosario 6. Kyle Gibson 7. Joe Benson 8. Liam Hendriks 9. Travis Harrison 10. Hudson Boyd
  19. Buxton doesn't look happy to be a Twin.
  20. We got him!!!! WE GOT HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Buxton, Zimmer, Gioloto, or Appel and I'm happy.
  22. Wow 7 benefits in every bottle! Mauer always gets the ladies in his commercials...
  23. 1. Byron Buxton 2. Carlos Correa 3. Mark Appel (included)/Kyle Zimmer (not included)
  24. I've heard a lot of comparisons of Buxton to Starling (2011 5th pick I believe?) and have a question about the two. Who is/was the better prospect before their respective drafts?
