  1. http://blogs.twincities.com/twins/2015/04/03/twinsights-all-15-twins-organization-ped-suspensions-since-2005/ Berardino provides a list.
  2. At first I thought you were talking about the Red Sox scrubby appearance -- makes me appreciate theYankees.
  3. They may count the same but they may not have the same impact on momentum. Especially not when all but 3 games in April are against Division rivals. I was hoping for a "hot start" from this team to take advantage of the schedule. I don't feel like the Twins have placed the same importance on that. I wish Monday would get here. The more I read, the less hopeful I get.
  4. I hope the starting pitchers can each go 8 or 9 every night.
  5. They are supposedly making final roster decisions tonight but haven't said when they'll make an announcement.
  6. Well this got out of hand quickly,.
  7. Thank you, Craig Breslow and Hanley Ramirez.
  8. Ervin having a good outing. Starting pitching shows some promise.
  9. Better every day. Wrist tends to be tired by this time of day but I can still type with it just not as fast as usual. Still can't lift more than 5 pounds though and can't put any weight on it because the bone is building around the plates and pin.
  10. Strandding runners.... ack. (But it is nice to have runners.)
  11. Really interesting read -- thanks, Parker. Combines some human interest with a bit of an explanation about his approach. Looks like this may have been a good pickup -- and reasonably priced. Still shaking my head on Stauffer.
  12. No Gibson. He has the flu. Blaine Boyer is starting. J.R. Graham will follow Boyer (per Rhett Bollinger).
  13. Will those of us in Twins Territory be able to see it or will we be blacked out even though it isn't on FSN? I'm thinking we'll get it but I've been surprised before.
  14. And a HR by Arcia, 6-4 in the middle of the 6th.
  15. Sigh.... Nolasco. 2 singles, a WP -- even a DP can't save you then when you proceed to give up 2 HR. 3-0 Orioles after 1.
  16. I'm so glad tomorrow's game is on TV. I keep telling myself I'll keep an eye on game day and then it's two hours later and the game is mostly over. Sorry to see May's performance here. I really thought he had gained the inside track.
  17. Thanks to David Dorsey who actually typed out names and positions: #Pirates at #MNTwins: 3B Harrison RF Polanco LF Marte C Sanchez 1B Alvarez SS Kang CF Decker 2B Sean-Rod LHP Locke. #MNTwins lineup 3/27: SS Santana 2B Dozier B Mauer RF Hunter LF Arcia 3B Plouffe C Suzuki DH Schafer CF Hicks. RHP May.
  18. http://blogs.twincities.com/twins/2015/03/22/twinsights-lewis-thorpe-to-undergo-mri-on-throwing-elbow/ Berardino after talking to Thorpe's mentor, James Beresford.
  19. I got a little concerned about his confidence level after reading Molitors comments in the Berardino article: “I don’t think anybody likes to face him,” Molitor said of Meyer. “He has to start understanding that. He can take command of those situations. It’s going to be more about confidence for him to develop that presence. “ Seems like it is a matter of it all coming together for him. http://blogs.twincities.com/twins/2015/03/20/twinsights-paul-molitor-on-alex-meyers-missing-swagger/
  20. Meyer needs confidence lessons from Berrios.
  21. I'm really a Hawkeye fan but I like to see any of our Iowa schools do well. Sorry I didn't update after the 4th. Seemed like Boyer had a nice inning. Prior had nice numbers but i don't know who he faced. Offense fizzled.
  22. Bottom of 4th, Suzuki triples, comes home on an Escobar single. Top of the 5th, Cervelli with another solo HR off Gibson. Twins do not score 3-2 Pirates after 5. UNI 35 Wyoming 24 @ the half
  23. Twins get a run in the bottom or the 3rd on a Nunez single and SB and a Robinson double. 2-1 Pirates.
  24. Pirates up 2-0 in the middle of the 3rd. Gibson gives up a solo HR to Cervelli in the top of the 3rd.
