    At this point, i trust the "bone-headed" decisions coming out of the front office a heck of a lot more than the "experts" that typically post here. I find calling the front office's decisions "bone-headed" offensive. We do not know what factors go into many of their decisions. I have not been a Terry Ryan supporter but so far this year , his plan is coming together better than 90% or so of posters predicted. I don't know why that is -- maybe he truly did just find a pot of shamrocks for good luck. Or, just maybe, he and Paul Molitor have their thumbs on the talents and character of this team.

    Made me look. It is currently 77 in Virginia Beach according to Weather Underground. It is 50 degrees in my part of Iowa. I'm very jealous!!!! Nice, clean opening -- I enjoyed it very much.

    It's BETTER than landing in the water. It's like those games you play where you have to throw the ball in the bucket. The boat is bigger than the bucket but who knew it would be there?

    I loved the recent story on how Torii Hunter (Sr.) visited his son's baseball team on a recent off-day. They were having a "fire eating" lesson from a noted sports psychologist. Torii came back and went through the same exercise with his teammates -- so we now have Fire-Eating Twins.

    I believe it has to do with where you can drink what you purchase. As said above, off-premises sales are generally bottle (although I believe they can be single serving) but must be consumed off the premises of the selling establishment. On premises are generally open containers/Glasses and under most local ordinances must be consumed in the selling establishment. Of course that is a "northern" way of doing things. I've never understood places like Texas where you have to buy a bottle and a membership to drink it. I also don't understand the "drive through" margaritas shops theysupposedly have in New Orleans.

    Really? I read the no Sunday sales stuff but missed the early closing part. You could drive to Wisconsin a lot faster than waiting for Minny to reopen.
