Guess what! I just heard from the Twins! They want me to take over center field!
  2. teekz
    Pretty much.

    I'd rather be a brewer
  4. teekz
Man, if I wasn't at work, I'd need to go get a beer right now

Isn't Ervin from the Dominican? What kind of regulatory system do they have down there? I get that we have the FDA here but I doubt they have as rigid of a system there. Might be easier to pick up something like that down there. Not that it is an excuse, just saying.

    To pitch in relief.

I'd like to amend my previous Twins prediction now. Last place, 90+ losses.

    Pelfrey should be happy...

I thought you'd ask me "why the long face?".
  15. teekz
Wait? Are you talking about the game? you know this is the game thread right? No baseball talk in here...

    Are you calling me horseface?
  17. teekz
Call me crazy, but I kind of hope Hermann makes the club.
  18. teekz
Glad the Red Sox are following the reliever HR thing now...
  19. teekz
    Boom!
  20. teekz
As long as they don't take it north...

Does every reliever need to give up a long home run when they come in?

Here is the thing with Detroit. Their two top offensive guys sat out all spring except the last week or so with injury. Their 2nd best starter is starting the year on the DL. They lost their staff ace. Their starting SS sat out all last year with injuries. Their bullpen is still as bad as it has been the last 6+ years. That team is poised to fall hard and fast.

I honestly expect the Tigers to take a Twins 2011 nose dive. I think we finish ahead of them and possibly the Royals. I believe the Indians are the team to beat in our division this year.

The sad part is, the money we sent to them would have paid for both.

A bucket of balls and a wet napkin.
