Buck goes into a slump. Uses "Return of the Mack" again. Walks up to the plate. The catcher stands up and takes his mask off. It's Shane Mack. Mack punches Buck in the face. Buck goes on the IL for the rest of the season
I said the same thing to my boyfriend. My memory isn't very long, but I feel like Rocco doesn't have a great track record of having starters go 6, 7, 8 innings
Also a good point! Although some may argue the whole "inaction is an action/addition through subtraction" mindset. Not trying to debate or argue. Everyone has a different viewpoint
I knew I had seen this kid before. (NSFW: There's language.)
It's Not Up!
BTW, Jomboy has basically become The Simpsons. You haven't officially made it until he makes a video about you
A pretty soft subject but with the Twins posting on social media about their new stadium amenities and food:
Attending MLB game for just baseball vs overall experience?
(I specified MLB. I've never gone to a MiLB game but have gone to a lot of independent league games which seem to rely heavily on ambiance. Plus, MLB games cost more to attend.)
My apologies if this has been brought up in other discussions. I know it's been announced that Maeda will start the season on the 60 Day IL. Since then I haven't heard much about his recovery/rehab process. Anybody else have any updates. Just curious.
I understand this is a sports site. However, if an athlete has off-the-field behaviors and statements that can potentially affect their standing with the club, is it off-limits to discuss it here? I seem to remember a lengthy discussion when Max Kepler posted basically a Blue Lives Matter flag on his Instagram account
Hopefully Thorpe is taking it in stride. I remember when he got sent to Triple A after he needed some time off to reset mentally during Spring Training, he tweeted something like, "What a joke" and then deleted it
