    of course, Im goin by Span being dealt & Revere moving to CF. If I had to give a percentage, Id say it's still 65% he is in ROC with Hicks/Benson/Tosoni to start the year...meaning they wont sign any retread FA OFs. Knowing the Twins, they will start the season with Matt Carson in RF & Arcia becoming fulltime in mid May when MN realizes why Carson is a 32yr old who's never made it. Im hoping Arcia DOES get a Sept recall & does well so that both he & Parmellee are full time starters in 2013

    Its got to be less this year as the ROC OF should be pretty set with Tosoni/Benson/Hicks/Arcia & corner IFs Collabello @ 1B/Romero @ 3B & Hermann as C. One of Florimon/Escobar/Dozier will prob be there also for middle infield. Pitching staff is unable to predict as you dont know the big staff.....but gotta think it'll revolve around Gibson/Hermsen & maybe a couple out of Bromberg/Hishfield/Darnell and maybe one retread like signing.

    other numbers entering today .444/.500/.746 with RISP in 63ABs .459/.504/.827 with runners on base in 98ABs .219/.324/.292 in 96ABs with nobody on base....no challenge??? Needs to up his concentration a bit 41gms since July 1st .365/.447/.615 in 148ABs 33runs 13doubles 3triples 6hr 41rbi 36k 20bb 2/4sb's Why not promote him to ROC before the MN promotion as ROC is also in the hunt for a playoff shot, as is New Brit??? Is one organization considered more important than the other??

    My prediction is he will be the starting RF for the Twins next yr. He has absolutely dominated the 53gms in New Brit.....NOTHING to be accomplished there anymore (cept this nonsensical reasoning to help New Brit to playoffs....isnt ROC in playoff hunt also???) Could be in ROC, but I think he's gonna run with his Sept recall & not look back

    to the team/40 man roster between now & start of FA & discuss reasons For me... DFA Blackie & recall Vasquez (takes Nicks 40 man spot) or Henriks now....show fans you are done with Nick & contract wont be a reason. Can be now or end of minor league season/even offseason DFA Jeff Gray & readd to 40 man/recall Anthony Slama. Anthony will be a 6 yr FA, never had a chance & has an option left End of minor league season/Sept 1st Recall...Pedro Hernandez, Deolis Guerra, Hendriks or Vasquez, Arcia, Escobar DFA Nishi & add Aaron Hicks/recall Hicks If Pavano/Walters to be activated/added to 40 man....DFA Perdomo/Manship(6yr FA & out of options respectively) I like Dozier/Benson but take a look at others in Sept...show em they need to work this offseason End of season Add BJ Hermsen/Chris Hermann/Kyle Gibson to 40 man roster as Pavano is a FA/Capps contract option not picked up/DFA Walters If team would like an extra spot or 2 goin into offseason, Kyle Waldrop could be DFAd, as could Deolis Guerra

    There are some 19 yr old draft picks that went from Low A to AA this yr......just saying that could be a goal for Jose next yr......but this is the Twins organization.

    Blackburn's continued presence in the rotation has a lot more to do with the contract that he has than Gardy's attitude towards him. And that contract was not given by Gardy. If you want to blame someone for the harm that Blackburn has inflicted on this pitching staff, the line begins with the front office, not the coaching staff. No question this is Bill Smith but the Terry Ryan era front office is trying to justify the contract from their buddy. If TR wants to turn this team around, they need to get rid of Bill Smith trash that is Blackburn/Nishi's deals & move on

    89gms played.....54starts @ C, doesnt play another position so I dont get how he's not a catcher Thrown out 21/57 baserunners for 37% CS Cannot gauge his overall catching defense, but the numbers all around for a 23yr old look pretty solid to me, when the position scarcity is huge

    Batting Average/slgg by month April .347/.681 May .220/.473 June .255/.480 July .283/.663 August .184/.388 ISO has been over 200 every month, whether he's hitting for average (overrated for a run producer) or not...fantastic power hitter. Absolutely the oposite of a 'Twins hitter'. Hitting for power/driving in runs has made his decreasing BAve invisible.

    Since July 1st, 33gms 48/125 .384/.450/.616 22runs 9doubles triple 6hr 19rbi 15bb 25k Currently 4th in Florida St Lg in slgg w/.476 & 5th in OPS w/.836 Definately a lack of quality catchers in baseball helps Pinto as he's a 6yr FA who needs to be placed on 40 man roster or risk bein lost.     Ullger doin what he did best as 3rd base coach....hold a runner @ 3rd who was off with the pitch, & throw was way off line with a punch/judy hitting Carroll up next. Man he's a great coach wherever you put him.

    Anyone catch Gardy's pregame show??? Said he didnt know Revere was hurt untill he got to the ballpark today?? If there any communication in this organization or what. I didnt see the game Wed but my buddy texted me & said Revere twisted his ankle pretty bad.

    No. The Red Wings are trying to get to the playoffs. Same reason we can't call up Arcia or Hicks now either. This is the reason but its maddening that the Twins are basing THEIR roster off of what is best for ROC/New Brit/ Prob means another yr in AA for Hicks/Arcia....ala Benson/Parm as we will need to sign more Carson/Matt Tolbert types to make Roc happy

    dont think you can wait till next yr. They have to decide this winter. Cant have it hanging over your head. First thing, Justin needs to continue hitting well over the last 6 wks. There are teams interested in him even if he's not the MVP candidate anymore, but at what price as you may have to package prospects. I like looking at TEX, who is gonna deal Elvis Andrus this winter.....or returning him to Candada---TOR---and seeing if they would give up Ricky Romero and his 4 remaining yrs on his deal after a lackluster season. Both teams have been heavily rumoured to be interested in Justin, as is the Dodgers who have a top pitching prospect (Zach Lee) who may never see the big club if they decide to be big name spenders instead of relying on prospects

    Since June 27th (37gms), Ray has continued on fire thru tonight. 44/130 .338/.411/.554 17runs 8doubles triple 6HR 34rbi 23k 15bb 1hbp 2/2sb's 6th in tough hitting FSL in HRs w/13 & 8th w/63RBI Still only 22 & will be interesting to see who joins him in 13' New Brit OF as none of the other Miracle have had good yrs.

    Pavano starts off the Ft myers game with 3 scoreless innnings & leaves with a 7 run lead (all in first). Cole Nelson comes in & loses the lead before retiring a batter!!!!! 5h 4bb 9er in an 11 run 4th. WOW.
