  1. Stupid Ignorant Idiotic Vapid Are those demographics? I'd say they were all involved. And none of those imply uneducated.
  2. I'm not about to ignore that there was a lot of misogyny and racism still attached to this from my viewpoint. I am however open to the belief that this wasn't about voting for Trump but rather more about voting against the establishment and a change in direction. That being said the messenger does matter in this case, vile people of Trumps ilk have no business being the catalyst for any change. Whether they like it or not, he is now the vessel by which it will be judged. Timing is everything when it comes to making real change, this wasn't the time, I don't believe for a minute this will change anything. In fact, I believe it will have the opposite effect and only deepen the rancour that currently exists. Make America great again. What a laugh.
  3. Bull****. If you want to send a message to the establishment that enough is enough, you don't do it with someone like Trump. There might be a surging groundswell of dissatisfaction amongst middle class Americans but if this is who they're willing to annoint as their champion then I think it speaks to more than just that. This whole thing may have not been entirely about gender inequality but if you don't think for a second Hillary was held to a different standard for her transgressions than a male counterpart, then look no further than the who they chose instead of her.
  4. This. The charade is believing a huge section of America has any respect for women. Rich white guy wins election over woman, news at 11:00. Two terrible, terrible choices, and you still choose the most terrible one, because, woman.
  5. If anyone could find a way to screw this up worse, it would be America. Vote his ass out in 4 years? This from the country who voted for 2 terms of Dubya. I didn't think you could get any lower than that, man was I wrong. Spare the dramatics? Look what America just decided it stood for. Wow.
  6. http://www.ctvnews.ca/mobile/canada/canada-s-immigration-website-crashes-on-election-night-1.3152231 No vacancy....sorry.
  7. Meh, the bombs are in North Dakota. Trump wouldn't be getting his money's worth firing them at me. Snares though, that's an idea.
  8. Ok, the most votes then. Is that better? Doesn't seem better, but good luck regardless.
  9. I'm too disgusted with Americans right now. I'm building a wall.
  10. This is who the majority of America want as their leader? This is the change they want? The shocking stupidity involved in this hurts my brain. I can't put into words how disappointed I am at the willful choice so many people have made, to put a person like this in such an important office. For shame America, you've really outdone yourself this time.
  11. Your country is collectively ****ed in the head. The greatest country in the world, and this is who you choose to lead it. Disgraceful, this is the change you want? Completely lost.
  12. Meh, not really what I saw. Thought the call was pretty bogus and was suspect it took the ref about 3-5 seconds to drop the flag after the play. I don't think Rallis was trying to hurt him.
  13. So Rallis misses half the next game for, tackling?
  14. I'll never go on another cruise again, just pick a place and go to it, screw the boat. The Amityville Horror scared the living **** out of me when I was about 10 years old.
  15. It's like I wrote this myself.
  16. Yeesh, why would we want that? I think his sights are set a little higher than a guy with a career sub .700p OPS.
  17. Well said....ditto.
  18. And how did that work out for both of those teams after firing those guys? Still abject failure I guess. Success can be measured incrementally
  19. I honestly doubt they need to trouble Falvey with these types of roster decisions. They were probably being planned well before his hire.
  20. Marty Schottenheimer and Bruce Boudreau were given much more rope than one failed season before being fired. Ultimately they just became victims of the cyclical nature of sports, in other words their window closed and it was time to start over. It's all well and good to say win or bust but I don't believe that's a sincere belief in pro sports. Teams turn over, talent ebbs and flows, it's not sustainable to expect it every year and truly believe it. It's a cliche.
  21. As much as I love Steve Carell, Ricky Gervais was just too brilliantly cringe worthy
  22. Cupcakes are only worthwhile with cream cheese icing. Then they are very worthwhile! Beards? Yeah, no. As a lover of craft beer it pains me to know I will never be able to open my own brewery due to my inability to grow a beard. Love the BBC but probably watch its colonial cousin the CBC a bit more.....hockey excluded.
  23. In the opposite way.
