Insane game 4 at Shaw Park last night. Goldeyes down 3-2, bottom of the 9th, 2 out, runner on 2nd, Wingnuts pitcher Ryan Kussmaul induces a ground ball to short, throw to 1st is in time, game over and the Wingnuts pour onto the field to celebrate........but wait........why is the umpire walking towards the mound for the celebration? Because he had called balk and nobody heard him, except Goldeyes batter Casey Turgeon, and the Wingnuts catcher. Back to your places everybody. Turgeon returned to the box and promptly stroked a double to score Wes Darvill and tie the game at 3.......wow! Turgeon later scored the winning run, almost an entire game later, as the Fish finally walked it off........ in the 17th inning!!!! Now that's playoff drama! The teams return to the field at Shaw Park for the deciding Game 5 tonight, should be a fun one. Probably a good chance someone from the crowd gets called in to pitch. Here's the balk. https://t.co/xn9wF2dgvQ
