  1. We're waiting http://members.gamedev.net/nordwindranger/images/canada.jpg
  2. He's still alive? They should do a Barney Miller reunion before it's too late.
  3. He manages the game. that's all Kill wants out of him plus a little better execution. Same can be said for about 90% of D1 QB's. He does a pretty decent job of it, 19-35 for 200 against a very good TCU defense is apparently scoff worthy now?......crazy.
  4. For the most part he's a winner, name another QB in the last 40 years to beat both Michigan and Iowa in the same year, and then name the one who also beat Nebraska that very same year? Hint, both questions have the same answer. Listen, I prefaced it by saying I'm not a big Leidner fan, I also didn't say he was good, as you've indicated. I said he's better than a lot of people give him credit for. I also don't believe he's reached his ceiling as a player, which is why I expect him to be better this year. Leidner needs to improve his passing game and lord knows that might be difficult without Williams and not a lot of experience to replace him. I think this is where Leidner steps up this year, statistically he's inconsistent but he has the ability to keep his team in games, with a bit more consistency (and some luck), wins over the likes of Wisconsin might not be too far away.
  5. I'm not a huge Leidner fan but he is better than a lot of people give him credit for, and he is a good fit for Kill's offense. He will be better this year I feel. Gophers go 9-3 or 8-4, book it.
  6. He did play, albeit very limited at wideout. Limegrover alluded to him not being quite up to speed yet. I expect we'll see him more against Colorado St. But my guess is as a wideout still, seems he has a bit to learn at RB with Kill. That being said, he just might be the Gophers best receiver.
  7. And if December won't do it, by January you're ****ed.
  8. Great win, lovin' me that little Escobear right now. Side note, Aurora Borealis spectacular here tonight, stretching and dancing clear across the Northern sky, amazing. Great night to enjoy them, with a Twins win.
  9. Sorry, came across the wrong way, I was adding on to your comment, poorly.
  10. And the Gophers weren't? Surely it goes both ways?
  11. Yes there is, but when you only judge things through the b&w prism of wins and losses it's easy to believe that. TCU is the #2 ranked team in the country, the Gophers aren't even ranked, stop and think about that for a second.
  12. Ugh, Williams fumble out the back of the end zone,a yard away from scoring, so close. If the defense can keep building on that effort they will be a tough test for anyone, but geez Leidner has to get it together.
  13. Wow, awesome comparisons Parker. This guy is just a ridiculous talent, to be able to do what he's done, suffer through an injury and make adjustments like these, all in just over 200 PA's is insane. This guy is a freak. Oh, and thanks for the gif on Nate Jones's reaction, I think I'll watch that for the rest of the day!
  14. No worries David, I've got this for you. I'll be more than happy to have 3 or 5 in your honour.
  15. You'll have to attend the Pub Crawl to find out for sure.
  16. Well at least Mollie will have his 9th inning bench bat we all so desperately asked for.........there's that......right?
  17. WTF is with this lineup?!!! Seriously? I was sure as **** we were in a playoff race.

  19. Let me know if you make it, I share season tickets with a group and typically have access to others. Wild/Jets is a brewing rivalry, once they meet in the playoffs it will boil over big time, can't wait!
  20. Yeah, Manitoba takes a lot of shots but it really has some of the best lake fishing you'll find anywhere, especially even further North around Thompson, The Pas, Flin Flon. Some real diehard places up there, very remote and virtually untouched . Eagle's Nest is a nice area, close to cottage country in the Shield.
  21. Yeah, you guys can pilfer Canada on an almost 2 for 1 basis on everything these days, nice. Was in the TC's earlier this month and when I got my Visa bill I thought someone must have stolen my card and had a party. I'm heading back for the Angels series and I'm getting murdered on the exchange, stupid Stephen Harper! Better be lots of free drink tickets at the crawl to make up for my Canadian Pesos. Welcome back.
  22. Go Blue Jays! http://images6.fanpop.com/image/photos/33900000/Captain-Jack-Sparrow-pirates-of-the-caribbean-33979551-1280-539.jpg
