    Get former UMD grad Matt Niskanen as well as Jonas Hiller, take your chances up front. Vanek would be nice but you need better movement from the back end.

    Big cap hit for a second pairing defenseman. As long as you don't use him like Toronto does he could be a good addition, shouldn't play the minutes he does in Toronto and not against the top line. Has to be paired with a guy who actually plays defense with some intelligence, if so his offensive skills are a plus, although he's not nearly as good a skater as people seem to think he is. 7/49 is a big price for Phaneuf IMO.

    If it is, that's a lot of continued breaking down.Seems to me Kubel doesn't represent nearly enough upside to have to wait through that.

    Supporting the team that displaced yours is sacrilege. I get force fed the Jays a lot but I just can't bring myself to support a sports team from Toronto. Brewers and Royals are closest geographically and most likely the teams I would go to see live, so I guess them.

    Not sure why that would even be perceived as a thread jack. Anyway, Presley and Mastro are Fuld 2.0 and 2.1, actually a little worse. Hicks was a gamble, maybe a poor one but given the teams competitive level at the time of the trades I'm still ok with May and Meyer as return for Span and Revere, they needed the pitching depth. Both of them should be key pieces in the Twins next competitive team with Buxton in CF.

    Hammer and Arcia coming back, Parmelee as good an option off the bench, younger and better defensively ........hate to say it but it's midnight Cola.

    Plouffe has been playing well but the only two mainstays at any position on this team right now should be Dozier and Mauer.

    That's a good reason, the Toffees have a lot of exciting players, Barkley, McCarthy, Mirallas and Baines. Would love to see them keep Lukaku from Chelsea but not likely, what a player.
