    The fall of Fernando Romero is super puzzling. Where did all the strikeouts go?

    Doogie has just reported that Mack, Sands and Helman are signed.

    Their BP or Fangraphs writers had hopes of Gorman and Hankins. The Singer pick was praised for the value (except by the BP guy) but many of the more in-the-know writers preferred boom-or-bust prep kids. Their system has literally no pitching talent, so it makes sense. But, on the flip side, they've also lost faith in the organization's ability to develop any pitchers. So, they wanted higher ceiling guys if they went the pitching route (outside of Singer).

    And with a depleted system and money to spend, they took no chances on high-ceilinged high school kids. The KC faithful are puzzled.

    I would take hitters high and take pitchers in quantity. Hitters have less risk of career-altering injury. Hope for best-case development or the learning of a new pitch to propel the pitchers.

    I think we need to be hyping Engelb Vielma more... Anyone been able to see his at-bats? The kid is finally filling the box scores with hits.

    This article prompted me to look up Dillon Tate (a guy I hoped would fall to the Twins last year) and... Woof. Guy is struggling big time. And, while I am glad we took Jay, I hope we take a high schooler this year.

    I'm not a big believer in Kirilloff (just because of slow hands) but, 7?! Wow. Do you have a write-up on him?

    Surprised to see Diaz and Jay so high, but liked the breakdown (and that they are as well regarded as their draft/signing slot). Hopefully Jay can make it as a starter. I have high hopes for him!

    Twins have now drafted the 74th, 75th, and 76th best players according to BA. Crazy.

    I was scared off by the poster that pointed out how most of his homeruns were "wall scrapers" and a few were inside-the-parkers. Cannot see that translating in Target Field.

    I'm starting to really want a pitcher. Especially with the OF depth (I know how fickle it can be). And I agree with the order of pitchers. Can't go all in on Black Swan Fulmer, but I would take him before Allard (today at least).

    Probably because Aiken and Matuella were healthy. Which proves the point of Hrbowski.

    I thought next year's draft was supposed to be very strong? Kiley McDaniel has mentioned it's strength and someone (Law, maybe?) has went on record saying there are 10-15 draft ineligible guys that would be first round picks this year. I really wish I had a link to back up my claim. I'll look.
