    The Dunn trade may be a panic move but his other deals seem to come in the off season or at Non Panic times. I gotta go with Guts with a large dose of crazy.

    Yep... We got leftovers and I like cold chicken. But I've never seen prices like that. I was laughing all the way home.

    LOL... As the Animals once sang... Please don't let me be misunderstood. I don't bow at his alter. He's just a guy and he seems to be a crazy guy on occasion. I don't place him above other GM's. But... I think he has guts... Right or wrong... The trades he makes... Other GM's wouldn't do.

    So... The wife and I drove to Argyle Minnesota for dinner last night... About 45 minutes away. She was told by a friend that the restaurant is worth the drive so she's wanted to do this for awhile. We get there... It's closed for the Labor Day weekend. So we go to Warren Minnesota and eat there. It was Ok... But the menu prices still have me confused. My wife had the walleye... The price 17 99 for one fillet... 19 99 for two fillets. I told her to get two. I had the Chicken... 10 95 for a 2 piece Dinner 11 95 for a bucket of 8. I got the bucket of 8. My math was working for me... I'm glad I learned that in kindergarten.

    Beane has guts and he's all in for this year. He drained the farm for right now and it will have to be rebuilt later... He does rebuild frequently... In the coming years... He will trade Donaldson and others for prospects and start over. I don't think I'd have that type of guts but I sit back and marvel at it.

    In my opinion... Trevor May is just like someone who listened to Gordon Lightfoot Greatest Hits every day for 7 years, He gets on Jeopardy... Alex Trebec... The whole works... Alex reads: "1976 hit for Gordon Lightfoot about a Great Lakes Freighter that Sank during a storm in Lake Superior". Trevor Buzzes in... Alex calls on him and his mind goes blank. Yep... I think Trevor has forgotten how to do a lotta stuff that's he's been doing for a living for a few years now. He will be ok eventually... He's gonna need to be eased in slower until it comes back to him.

    What a waste of a Saturday Night... Get home from dinner... Game tied... Sit down... Read some posts to catch up and the phone rings and I've got technical problems at work and I get them fixed and get in the car to go home and the game just ended. It looks like you guys came close to keeping it tied and that's a hard thing to do from different locations around the world. You normally have to be a member of the mob to control games scores like that. All in All... I was impressed with how close you all came. A toast to everyone and we'll see ya tomorrow night. Umm afternoon.
