    I had to look up the definition of Shtick: one's special trait, interest, or activity Curveball's could be a shtick. Birdwatching could be a shtick. Telling people how terrible someone is over and over again could be a shtick.

    They will tell stubbornly tell you that they are. I know a few of them. This might shock you but I tend to tease a bit. I say things like "Is there a certain percentage of correct forecasts you must get correct before they stop you from forecasting? 30% or something? Well, It turns out they've heard these type of comments before and have lost a significant portion of their sense of humor on the subject.
