  1. At least the Twins finished the loss efficiently with that GDP...
  2. Tomorrow is World Creativity and Innovation Day... But don't let that make you feel pressured to be... I dunno... creative or innovative or whatever.
  3. That's just your sanity's sense of self-preservation kicking in.
  4. My interest declined significantly after the chance of a rainout slipped away from the Twins.
  5. Depends on whether it's two lanes or four.
  6. Sano has looked bad at the plate in April before, but his swing & miss on fastballs seems slower and more lumberjack-y than other times he's struggled.
  7. The Twins' bats helped the Kershaw relive his prime, so it wouldn't be surprising if they helped make Lynch the next Koufax.
  8. The B-52's were right: The Staaay-shack is a little old place where foes' bats get much better...
  9. Just a lucky one-timer off the assist. It's a miracle I was even awake after eating so much Easter ham, which it turns out was actually turkey this year. Free range organic turkey too, which has even more of that sleep-inducing stuff, terspi... tippy... better google it... okay, it's tryptophazzzzzzzzzzz.
  10. I'm just going to pretend the Twins let the Sox win as a symbolic victory for the citizens of Ukraine and leave it at that.
  11. After this inning the bullpen has cracked the top three in fWORd.
  12. I'm starting to feel like the top of the 8th was a bad time to turn the game on. The good news is that after eating two meals' worth of Easter dinner I'm probably going to fall asleep before the Twins get the last out of the 8th.
  13. Correct. Twins pitching is like
  14. Right now I'd say a pay cut in his next contract...
  15. I'm not sure which is worse... watching the Twins not give the Dodgers a game, or listening to Bremeau backstop the Dodgers' decision to not even give Kershaw a chance to get a couple of quick outs to extend his 80 pitch perfect game and see where it went from there.
  16. Sitting a guy with a perfect game through 7 on 80 pitches would've been almost universally panned all the way up through the early 2000's, I think.
  17. Twins looking for more consistency from their pitching, and they get consecutive homers to the same seat in right field...
  18. Not to mention some on-field jawing that turns into a bench-clearing donnybrook. Be sure to stretch before punching and head-locking, bench guys!
  19. You've got my vote. Unless it's an actual monarchy sort of thing, then... fealty, I guess?
  20. Watching the comparison of Kershaw's identical delivery of the fastball and slider even in slow motion along with the Twins' resulting swings and misses makes me wonder how the Twins have put the ball in play 6 times.
  21. Caught a snippet of Barreiro in the car yesterday, plugging the Twins' series with the Dodgers. He specifically mentioned the chance to see Clayton Kershaw, 'one of the all-time Dodger greats, although no longer in his prime'. Lucky us.
  22. Yep, but keep it on the down low. The less people know about what's in there, the better.
  23. Does it count if the bat doesn't hit the ball? Because Sano's swing generates a vortex that's going to connect for an infield single any day now.
  24. No way I'm watching that if the players are allowed to buy a bowel.
