  1. Diekman has reportedly thrown as hard as 101, which is about 6 less than the percent chance the Twins will not score a run tonight.
  2. Potted plant pinch running for 56 year old Julio Franco. Mitch Williams warming up in the pen. Two fans, a fellow TX reliever, and the bullpen catcher receiving medical attention from on-scene EMTs.
  3. Batter smells glove, recoils in horror. http://generationfilm.files.wordpress.com/2010/06/this-is-spinal-tap.jpg
  4. Stand by, Red River Six. Fast movers inbound. http://cms.parlamentnilisty.cz/content/images/0/12983942.jpg
  5. Beeville to Corpus was about three and a half beers...
  6. But like all the other Texas road signs, it's hard to read due to the double ought buckshot holes
  7. Thank goodness for the hyphen. If it's a comma instead then it's two words you never want to hear from your cellmate.
  8. 'What the hell was that new Rosareerow kid thinkin' there?' 'Not a good play'. http://lifevsfilm.files.wordpress.com/2014/03/maxresdefault1.jpg
  9. Tom Hanneman's postgame assessment of Pelfrey tonight: "Pelfrey was not crisp." Visual aid for those who weren't able to watch the game:
  10. As opposed to the Twins, who have a cluster luck bullpen.
  11. It makes sense that there has been grumbling today and on other days like it that used to be automatic sit days for Mauer the catcher but that figured to be play days for Mauer the first baseman. That being said, his career line against David Price is... .176/.263/.206 in 34 AB's
  12. No, but I hear Rosie O'Donnell's breath can.
  13. And it looks like CJ WIlson could be out for the rest of the year. The Twins won't be a wild card team, but it's looking more and more like it won't be because of the Angels.
  14. He just did. Three of them. Of course every other pitcher is retiring a Twin left and right, so it's not really a big deal...
  15. Good catch; that's obviously a mistake. There's no way they loaded the bases 15 times since July 17.
  16. Martin setting up in Nova Scotia for the two out 0-2 to Nunez...
  17. Amen, kitty kat. Just don't bring it back here, either.
  18. Not sure how to break this to you Dave, but someone has been posting on your account while you were in that coma during the month of July...
  19. If you played Let's Make a Deal with opposing teams and offered them a chance to face Boyer to start an inning or forfeit the inning in exchange for a run, would it even matter to them what the game situation was? Yes, his ERA is below 9, but wouldn't almost any team right now, under almost any circumstances, have a go at Boyer instead of exchanging the inning for a free run?
  20. Depends on the lighting, maybe? But hey, Twins fans got Kevin Jepsen, the trade deadline's Sweat Pants and Pint of Hagen Daz..
  21. Moonlight Graham: "Hey ump, how 'bout a warning?" Ump: "Sure, kid. Watch out ya don't get killed." http://www.screeninsults.com/images/field-of-dreams-archie.jpg
  22. Well, Dantana and his cherry red '57 could be back in September, right? Give it some time. Still two months to go. http://www.modelroundup.com/v/vspfiles/photos/AMT-3105-2.jpg
  23. Yup. Then he Rick Reeded his hand picking up his duffel bag, but that's off the record.
