    Yup, slow-roasted prospect Lonnie Chisenhall has coincidentally 'figured it out' the same year his BABIP has miraculously (but totally for real) jumped 60 points above his career MLB average... He may have take a late stride forward, and is having a very nice season, but still...

    Hmmm. Looked like it grazed the outer edge of the foul poll, with the mild (by my golf swing standards) slice turning into a mild right turn. Who's up for foul poll impact sensors? Just kidding. Mostly. Either way, that's a pretty impressive ride for a go-the-other-way swing.

    Bill James said of an organization that its fear of a couple of 100-loss season with young players led to its losing 90 several times with old ones and getting no closer to rebuilding. Just signing Morales as opposed to pocketing the money won't do much initially to harm the Twins, but eventually he'll probably be in the way of someone who needs AB's. And before his deal is over, a guy that slow already won't even be able to get out of his own way. But worst than that, it would be a vote of no confidence in the farm system, and would give the impression of a franchise content to mumble about contention until July, sit on its hands at the deadline, and settle for a .500-ish club for the next several years. The involvement of Boras is not a plus.

    It bothered me, but in much the same way a that visit to the dentist does. It's unpleasant and an inconvenience, but it's better than the alternative. His defensive prowess was overstated in his 30's, but for fewer years than his offense was understated. He spent his entire career in a media/fan crucible that illuminates some stars and immolates others. And as USC's good call alluded to, his career overlapped a good share of RoidGate, minus the accusations. And the T-birds flew over the right stadium:p.

    Are you ok with coming off the bench initially? Trout and Carp are penciled in as starters in the fishfield, with Salmon racing to get back into shape. SS Minnow is serving a long suspension, but be ready. PS. Missed how volleyball turned out. Weird to ask for update repeat?
