    I don't think the Rays even call a meeting on that. Hell, if the secretary fields the call, she should know to say yes and fax the documents to the league office. Those two will be top 5 prospects on every list this coming offseason and David Price is getting ready to get PAID. (And he's kind of stunk this year)

    Parm's adequateness in LF has almost made me forget how completely inadequate he has been at the plate.

    What's up with the Boston fans? Aren't they in first place? Why are the stands empty? It not that cold out there.

    Whenever they start moving Buxton and Sano up, I hope that they move Buxton up before Sano, even if it's just a week. Give those guys a week together to connect, push each other, generate a friendly little rivalry, and push for the big leagues. That would be a fun week in Ft Meyers.

    Also, how much more fun would all of this be if teams could trade draft picks?

    I have a "pool of money question" The Twins have 8.5 mil to spend this year (and that covers both draft and international signings?). If they don't sign the #4 pick, obviously they have that slotted money to spend elsewhere. They could pay more to #42 and spend more in the international signings. Fast forward to the 2014 draft... Twins get the #5 pick because of not signing their #4 this year, and whatever draft pick they "earn" from their 2013 record. Would that generate a significantly larger pool of money (say $11 mil)?

    What are some good comps for Buxton? Granderson? Carlos Gonzalez ceiling?

    I think at this point they have to be regretting postponing this game. It was "light rain/mist" the whole time the game was to be played, and in the mid to upper 30s. Obviously not GREAT baseball weather, but given the circumstances of LA not coming back to MN, you've got to try to get 5 innings in. Someone blew it.

    Hicks has 6 runs scored on only 2 hits.

    Also, I was on board with Hicks starting the year as the starting CF, but the Arcia method HAS to be vastly superior. A couple days here and there, a couple weeks of quality playing time for someone's DL stint. Less pressure. A hunger to perform so well that you CAN'T send them down.

    I have nothing against Doumit (although he's been sub-par so far this year) but hopefully this means a little less of him. Sprinkle in Parm and Morneau at DH to open up RF for Arcia.
