This guy looked good in Rochester, lets hope he does well with the big club.
  2. striker_86
yeah, Morneau has been playing better lately, but I don't think he will ever hit .300 again. With that said, I only support trading him if that money goes into pitching in the offseason
  3. striker_86
yeah' don't dump span just to dump him. Liriano on the other hand, trade him for a bag of leaves
  4. striker_86
brutal 7th inning. At least we have seen a couple good starts by the youngsters Deduno and DeVries
  5. striker_86
If they trade Span then its worth a shot, otherwise no way.
  6. striker_86
bill smith would have kept liriano because we are only 12 games out of first and still have a shot at the division, Ryan is smarter than that
  7. striker_86
Batting .294 in 17 at bats in Rochester. 6 RBI and 2 doubles.
  8. striker_86
Nice 6 run lead, its about time!
  9. striker_86
Will Thome go yard once or twice or more this series?
  10. striker_86
Pathetic weekend for the Twins. Packed house all 3 games and they couldnt even put up a fight. At least we have Diamond pitching next and Liriano still looks good but the rest of the this rotation can do anything....Trade now!
  11. striker_86
Bring back Baker (not for 9.5 though). Hope Gibson is ready, and sign a legitimate starter with the rest of the $$. Our rotation would be 1. New Ace 2. Diamond 3. Baker 4. Gibson 5. Blackburn or whoever works out in spring training
  12. striker_86
Get rid of him, for whatever it takes. We've waited long enough, dump him and spend some money in the offseason on a starter who has decent stuff and his head on straight.
  13. striker_86
I'm excited to see this guy throw, its worth a shot!
  14. striker_86
haha, now if he is half the player he was in Portland, this is a nice signing
  15. striker_86
    Fantastic Day for Wild Fans!
  16. striker_86
When does Pavano get back? I havent heard much about him....
  17. striker_86
Yeah, the contract will be ridiculous. But you are right, this fan base is fading every year. They cant keep going into each year with the same old boring group of players with barely a shot at cracking the top 8. If they bring in Parise, at least there will be some serious excitement (like Rubio did for the Wolves last year).
  18. striker_86
As far as Parise goes, someone mentioned that he wants to be the go-to guy in the franchise. If this is the case, Minnesota is clearly better than Pittsburgh. Think about, they would roll out the red carpet, and treat him like a King. In Pittsburgh, he would have a much better shot at winning, but that's Crosby's team.

The kid can hit! At least for the last 10 days or so...and especially during the Rock Cats winning streak, Bigley has been on fire. He is batting .450/3 homers/13 rbi in his last 10 games. 12 of those 13 rbis have come in the last 5 games! He's up to .268 now. Lets hope he can keep it going.
  20. striker_86
I bet Youk goes 3 for 4 with a homer tonight....
  21. striker_86
I also missed the game, but I'll definitely consider watching it tonight. I'll be at tomorrows game as we look to cut into that white sox lead a little bit
  22. striker_86
Terrible loss. Gardy has to change his logic of bringing Capps in in the 9th when we are tied. Hopefully Hendricks looks better tomorrow since we know Sunday is a loss with Blackburn pitching.
  23. striker_86
Terrible game, You gotta show up and roll these guys. I dont fault Diamond. Thome killed him, otherwise he had a decent outing. Offense should pick him up there...
  24. striker_86
Are they seriously going to play this thing? Its pouring right now and a thunderstorm watch till 10pm....
  25. striker_86
The guy hit a towering shot and the game was already blown open. Its not like he hit a 2 run single and the place cheered. I would have done the same. Despite the team playing better, they still are sitting in last place. Might as well stand and cheer for a classy player who helped make Target Field's first two season memorable.
