  1. Does anyone else have Pineda as the starter you have the most confidence in right now?
  2. How about this one? I predict Kepler and Cruz will tag-team Foltynewicz and both slam him in the same inning. Am I doing it right?
  3. I've gotta get through 10+ pages of comments, but DANG can the Twins play baseball! I would've never thought Of got through 6 after the 1st, much less the second, and through 3 innings it looked like we had /nothing/ to give ATL at the plate. But Cruz led us with a single, as he always does, and the rest of the guys decided they remembered how to hit, eh?
  4. Jinx. We're dead. Your fault.
  5. Stashak 1 pitch per out. Got it figured!
  6. Who usually does the boomstick gif? We're severely lacking right now.
  7. Ope, there goes Cruz smashing again.
  8. Chief! I thought you missed this thread?
  9. North Coop on 7 & 41 in Excelsior? has some more than decent fried chicken, if you're looking.
  10. Step one complete. Beginning step two.
  11. Watch some Dane Cook to dull it up a bit, then.
  12. If your wit was sharper maybe the point would stick. Please don't ban me.
  13. That was a great charge. Do you think there's a run if bux/kep are throwing that?
  14. I'm not dyslexic, but just now, my brain saw "Gibson" as "Bigson" and before I could even correct it in my head, I was wondering if he was the largest of his siblings. Why am I like this?
  15. Salt over the shoulder, just in case.
  16. I don't know how silver slugger works (I assume BBWAA?), but, is Cruz leading the pack at DH without much difficulty right now, or is someone else just going the EFF off right now? *throws salt over shoulder*
  17. I think Cruz read this and took offense.
  18. Let me help get it out of your head with a jarring sound:DUN-DUN!
  19. I /think/ I started it, but forget how and don't feel like going back to check.
  20. Understand, I'm not advocating taking children to high-danger areas, then ignoring the danger. I'm saying that by allowing children in these areas fully knowing that parents will not or will not be able to protect all of them, they share in the responsibility.
  21. Hundreds of thousands of individual attendees come to games every year. Many get hit by foul balls even if paying attention. Protecting someone else is more difficult than protecting oneself. If a team allows children of any age to sit in the lower deck, and any of those children are subsequently injured, it is a foreseeable result, and thus, negligent.
  22. You can get Duluth 610 radio streaming online, at least.
  23. I anticipated this response. When I was about 10, we were lighting off fireworks in our back yard. One was almost a dud and lit some dry grass on fire. I immediately tried to run and get water. My mother grabbed both my shoulders and screamed, "OH MY GOD!" as I tried to tear away from her. She eventually ran over my 13 year old brother in the house who came out and stomped it out in flip-flops, then continued playing StarCraft. If my mother had taken me to a game when I was, say, 8 years old and a ball came screaming at my face, she would have been physically and mentally unequipped to do anything to stop it, and even if it was her /responsibility/, I would have still eaten one to the temple.
