  1. Right? Ya gotta show the fans who paid for tickets and stuck around that you care a LITTLE bit...
  2. Can't they legitimately claim to have ninja'd you whether you say "ninja'd" or not?
  3. "When in Rome." He's Japanese playing in America. Could really pick or choose which way to do it unless he's expressed a preference to the U.S. media previously.
  4. Looks like the Brewers have a tough Hill to climb, tonight.
  5. I thought it was a well established tradition to get ninja'd on these forums & then to acknowledge it with a "ninja'd by xxxx" post or edit?
  6. When is infield fly called? Could it have been called there?
  7. I pick ByBux with the slump-breaker after going 1/18 & no BB in the last 5 games and Mad Max becomes the first German-born player to hit his 99th & 100th HR in the same game. *Edit: Should have looked at the lineup closer. Max does that tomorrow.
  8. Quite. As wikipedia puts it, "Lutz was the first German-developed player to play in the modern Major Leagues."
  9. Wikipedia shows him as being born in NY. So even if he was, Max could still have the distinction.
  10. Trying to keep track of my Kepler stats. Do you think he's the first German born player hit by a pitch in the 12th inning of an MLB game?
  11. A likely excuse. The Twins players should be unaffected by anything besides monster Minnesota mosquitoes. Maybe a cicada if it's screaming directly next to their ears.
  12. Man, our pitcher is really Thielen it right now... Wait.
  13. That's wise on his part. When I try to please people to gain personal advantage, I always end up having angry meetings with HR.
  14. I really like Buxton when he's not falling on his hip from 20 ft in the air.
  15. C'mon, Minneapolis, put on a better representation of MN than this. MN sports are enough of a joke already.
  16. I'm not 100% on the rules, so someone correct me, but isn't it supposed to be between your knees and elbows as you stand straight with your arms hanging? Regardless, just standardize it and tell the player "Here's your strike zone. Change your stance all you want, but your strike zone doesn't change."
  17. L/R would be the same for everybody. For up/down, take measurements of everybody before the season, double check you have the right data associated with the right player profile, and have a guy for each team put in the batter's profile before each at bat, with someone from the league issuing a correction if both team's input doesn't match?
  18. So, how we feeling about robo ump ball/strike calls currently? I get keeping the human element, but I get unreasonably angry when the same pitch (especially off the plate) is called differently through the game.
