I really feel for Gene Glynn. He must have "Have to Give John Ryan Murphy At Bats" pre-printed on all of his lineup cards. And this "David Martinez" gets starts while Alex Meyer floats aimlessly in nothingness? Did he pull a Peyton Hillis and sleep with Paul Molitor's wife?

Buxton struck out once. Clearly he's a bust.

Shouldn't there be a ground rule double in there somewhere when we have a runner on first that eventually gets stranded at 3rd?

Buxton seems to be doing some good things in AAA so far, hopefully his confidence continues to build to the point where he can be the anchor in CF after the trade deadline.

This is spot on, except that I would try to get Plouffe some reps in RF. I would say get Mauer some reps in RF, but God forbid we sacrifice the Baby Jesus for all the sins of the front office.

Wimmers has pitched quite well in his last 10 outings, 9 of which appear to be out of the bullpen. Does he have the potential to contribute as a long reliever in 2016?
