  1. Yeah, the only difference is about $90 million.
  2. Gallo keeps this up and he's going to earn a month off, compliments of Baldelli.
  3. with a four game series, there,s a better chance of them calling this game, if the rain picks up,and doubleheading it. MLB has really changed its philosophy in trying to get games in. In other words, the heck with the fans who have tickets and re-arranged their schedule to come to the game.
  4. We all have a decent idea of what the fans think of Baldelli. Will the FO ever follow suit? Today's finale with the Yankees really exposed where Baldelli is coming from. The lineup was another hodge podge, his pitching decisions were questionable, and the worst is that he pretty much threw in the towel, with half a game to be played. What is going through his mind? It's one thing to have ateam that has needs, but to compound things with a manager like Baldelli, is not acceptable. Twins fans have gone through many years of suffering, frustration and mediocrity. We need a manager who can shake things up and make things happen, Obviously, this type of team is not Baldelli's forte. So we go through the motions again and again, with the same results. 1987 and 1991 should not be the only exceptions to years of mediocrity. .
  5. Post game Presser: Reporter: Rocco, any thoughts? Rocco: Yeah, if we had a manager with his head not in the sand, this game might have been more competitive. This is my mulligan for the season. Reporter: Sorry, rocco, but you used that Mulligan week 2 of the season. Rocco: Oh darn, you guys.
  6. The fact it was a breaking ball, made it seem less intentional. guys don't usually get plunked in the middle olf the back with a breaking ball.
  7. I think we've just been dissed.
  8. I know off games will happen, but if you play each game, to win, then maybe you can overcome a deficit of average proportion. Baldelli kind of eliminates that scenario by allowing the game to get away. Difference between a tough competitor and a 'loser'?
  9. Yes, he likes the pressure of coming through in tight games.
  10. Meanwhile, the Jets have had quite a week. Picking up a GM, Coach and QB all in one swift move, by acquiring Rodgers.
  11. Stick rocco's hind end out there to pitch and finish the game.
  12. Is Maeda working on his tan, today........or what?
  13. Somebody lost the key to the bullpen door?
  14. Fundamentals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. How did Steve Bartman get into the stadium?
  16. I can remember when the opening day lineup was the same lineup through out the season. An occassional injury or a long stretch of play, MAYBE merited a day off. Now the days off are penciled in and everything else filled out through the use of a ouija board, if your Baldelli.
  17. No mound visit? Throwing in the towel in the 2nd?
  18. Rocco plays to win series. He also thinks he's done a great job if the team plays .500. He is the Master of Mediocrity.
  19. Cue the Keytstone Cop music, please.
  20. I didn't know DHing could be so taxing.
  21. Nothing like going to a Twins night game, winning it, then going home to a warm fire, a snifter of brandy and your dog nestled around your feet. Then wake up the next morning and snow blow the driveway.
