With the tremendous amount of time not in the lineup, and the multitude of 'injuries', I'm thinking this is just not a physical issue. I believe a player's mental health issues can be just as debilitating as the player's physical health. Too much time is maybe spent on physical rehab versus mental rehab and preparation.
This is only conjecture on my part, but I think it should be considered. Buxton may have issues that are far greater than just his physical status.
