  2. Ober may be better served to pitch inside a bit more. These hitters are too relaxed and just slapping at the ball. buzz their towers once in a while.

  4. Nice job of posting start time, pitching and lineups.
  5. Nobody implodes faster than a Twins pitcher. Spontaneous implosion.
  6. Is he pitching well, because he's pitching quickly, or is he pitching quickly, beacuse he's pitching well?
  7. Berrios out for 7th. Best decision Baldelli has made this season, outside of zippering his pants.
  8. Sorry, I just get so excited thinking about Colome time!!!!!!!
  9. I would say that I could sacrifice his offensive consistency for a better catching consistency Way too many pass balls, that allow runners to take the next base or score. And his arm is basically for waving, and not throwing out runners.
  10. Garver's a tough read. When he's hot, he's RED hot, and when he's cold, he's absolute zero. If he could achieve some level of consistency on offensive skills, and really work harder on his defensive, skills, you still have a decent level player.
  11. Cap'n........I'm willing to concede my point, without prejudice. New game, new start.
  12. Football is also a spectator sport, and has no qualms about allowing the defense to do whatever it wants on it's side of the line of scrimmage. 5 yard contact rule, no contact to the receiver if ball in air, illegal pick, etc. Several rules debunk your statemnt. I also don't appreciate your 'strawman' comment. I'm not trolling, just trying to put forth a valid point.
  13. So, you eliminate the shift? Or institute what rule? There's no honor system in baseball.
  14. If you don't eliminate the shift, how do you make it worth it for lefties to go the other way?
  15. Has anyone picked up why Rortvedt pats the dirt before some pitches?
