    I agree with Webellik........Varland is BP guy. He is typically fantastic for 2-3 innings. He has All Star potential as a relief pitcher. Apparently doesn't believe he's better there, so hopefully the change in mindset occurs or he gets traded.

    Spot on. But now super stars don't need AAA. Kent Hrbek didn't play AAA and Pucket only played 21 games at AAA.

    It appears writer thinks like Twins Brass--rather have Jake Cave or Robbie Grossman (veterans!) in the Twins lineup. Personally, if Twins cutting payroll........play the rookies and use the $$ to sign great pitching!!
