  1. What is the issue, can you not move the players around? And what browser are you using, Chrome?
  2. I rather strongly disagree with this. OPS is flawed but is the best traditional metric to display offensive performance, whereas batting average is only a slice of OPS and pitcher wins are almost entirely useless except at the top or bottom quartiles of outcomes. But OPS can lead to inaccurate analysis if used outside the context of era. One needs to have at least a general idea of league average performance for OPS to have real meaning.
  3. They did! I think we're just calling the wrong text at the completion of a voting session. I'll try to get it fixed for next time.
  4. This is what it’s supposed to look like when a contending team plays the Oakland Athletics.
  5. It’s a FanGraphs stat. OPS+ is the BR version and the two metrics are rarely out of sync with one another.
  6. Which is why something like wRC+ would be far more useful in this situation, which has Arraez much more valuable than Gallo.
  7. No, Arraez is more useful given the makeup of this lineup. It's possible that in a more balanced lineup, they're closer to equal but this lineup needs baserunners and people who can make contact regularly instead of leaving people stranded in scoring position with fewer than two outs over and over again.
  8. Okay, just made a significant upgrade to the page. Every name is now in red. Clicking that name will take you to one of three places, opened in a new tab so your voting session is not disrupted: 1. The Twins Daily top prospects page for that player, which includes scouting reports, stats, and related articles 2. The Twins Daily draft page for players who do not yet have statistics 3. Failing the two listed above, the MiLB.com page for that player This should make quick reference of players much easier when you have questions you need to check on the fly.
  9. Chourio has been added! Thanks for the tip on Rodriguez, I'll look into that further. Tracking down photos for guys, especially low minors guys, can be REALLY frustrating and they're labeled wrong far more often than is reasonable.
  10. I have no love for Gallo but I’d move on from Kepler first, I think.* *I also don’t care just as long as one, if not both, of them go
  11. I’ve never been this irritated to see the Twins take a lead in the ninth inning.
  12. There were waaayyyyyyyyy more injuries last year and less talent to start with, particularly on the pitching side. In the second half of last year, there were no options left, much less good options. That’s what makes this season so damned infuriating. They have options. LOTS of options. And they do absolutely ****ing nothing, day after day. I think Rocco could be doing a better job but this front office has its head you-know-where and deserves every bit of bad ink it’s getting. Rocco didn’t sign both Gallo and Kepler and Rocco isn’t the guy who has them on the roster in mid-July.
  13. There was no status quo last season. Everyone was injured.
  14. Why not? Because broadcast corporations don’t feel like making it more accurate.
  15. I’m fine with them attempting the approach, what I find ****ing infuriating is that it’s still happening 90 games into the season.
  16. At least swinging gives the (false) impression that something might happen.
  17. I basically assumed the PA was over when it went to 2-2, though I thought Buxton would at least have the decency to swing and miss at it.
  18. Pretty hard for Buxton to drive in a run with the bat on his shoulder.
  19. I have seen WAY too many horse**** calls this season.
  20. I think mobile voting should be fixed if someone wants to give it a shot.
  21. It depends. Ted runs around like a madman, gathering news from agents, players, relatives, dudes holding signs on the street... Some of the information is directly from one of our contributors, some is sourced from Twitter, etc.
  22. The reason there's a question about it is because "Los Angeles Angels", who are essentially the Rockies with a bigger wallet.
