  1. I would be using Varland, Sands, Hendricks, etc to go 2+ innings.
  2. I don't think Correa needs to go on the injured list, as his ailment is not something that resolves with rest. Plus, he's playing very well right now. But two guys should be resting pretty much every day from here until the end of the season. I would pull pitchers at the 80 pitch mark. I'd avoid going back-to-back with a bullpen arm if at all possible.
  3. Good guess but Lawton never had 20 homers with the Mets.
  4. Donovan Solano is slowwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
  5. A dirt lot behind a Target with used heroin needles strewn about has more charm than the dome.
  6. Well, if we're talking about disparity between two stadiums, I can support that.
  7. Knobby never played for the Mets, though.
  8. It's funny that I can name a slew of pitchers who played for the Twins and Mets but can only come up with a few position players.
  9. See, they just needed me to start talking trash.
  10. Do the Twins plan on making contact at some point today?
  11. I think that's overstating it a bit but TF is quite nice.
  12. I didn’t expect Willi Castro to get on base 31 times this season much less steal 31 bases.
  13. There is no need for anyone to eat crow about Kepler. Before his recent breakout, he was well over 1,200 plate appearances of below average hitting. That's close to 2.5 seasons. Is it great that he has broken out? Absolutely, I want to see the Twins succeed. But it's also possible, maybe likely, we would have seen earlier success from Matt Wallner had Kepler not been here. Maybe we'd be watching a revitalized Trevor Larnach instead. Maybe the Twins would have - GASP - gone and found a capable RHB to play outfield at some point in the past 18 months. Again, it's great that Max is playing well right now but that doesn't erase literally 1,000+ plate appearances when he was actively hurting the team's offensive capabilities.
  14. I've been watching this for a past week or two and it's just not going to happen. It would require not only red-hot Twins play but the simultaneous collapse of three teams in the ALW, which I'm not sure is even possible given their schedules (haven't looked).
  15. Sounds like you're heading east. Parking is a pain if you need to go east while parking is super-fast if you need to go west (most of the ramps have a quick exit onto 394). The green line operates during games. Parking/driving or taking transit to STP will probably take you about the same amount of time, though transit will be both cheaper and less frustrating.
  16. Pretty much true. It's slightly easier if they're on the 40-man on August 31 but still pretty easy either way.
  17. I see the Twins front office finally wised up and put some umpires on the payroll.
  18. He’s on the roster because he bats right-handed and the front office completely failed to acquire someone better.
