I’m sure it is. This is just backfilling a roster because the Twins have completely looted Rochester over the past week.

What would be the real irony of that Yankees series is that it reignited the Twins offense and ended up destroying the Yankees pitching staff. Despite losing two games, the Twins bullpen somehow escaped without being legitimately damaged and gets another break tonight.

Yeah, Sano isn’t terrible at third. Maybe a bit below average but if he’s hitting, that’s an easy trade off to make.

I’ll be floored if this is the only move they make before the deadline.

It’s a pretty standard move this time of year as teams pillage their minor league system and need warm bodies to pitch for their affiliates. Not terribly different than the Yankees buying Navarro from the Twins yesterday, though they did it in part because they need MLB catching depth.

Was hoping to get seven out of Berrios tonight but it’s looking more like six, tops.

The Twins just hammered the only legit starter the Sox are going to field in four games. This could be a fun series.

You don’t have to outrun the bear, you just need need to outrun the person next to you. I feel the same principle applies to foul balls.

I hate the idea of netting. Pay attention to the game so the rest of us don’t have to stare through black string all game.
