The repertoire includes a low-90s fastball, a power curveball and a splitter. He's struggled with walks and throwing a hittable fastball, but there's stuff there. Had committed to use an extra year of eligibility at Virginia Tech.

Jones was awarded the MAC Medal of Excellence in 2022, given annually to a male and female student athlete who distinguish themselves academically, athletically and through service and leadership.

Twins Minor League Report (7/10): Keaschall and Ross Put the Win in Wind Surge; Julien's Near Cycle
There were several very close games throughout the Twins organization. There was a walkoff. There was some late-inning run support. The was a no-hit bid. And there was rain. Check out all that happened in the Twins system on Wednesday.
Twins Minor League Report (6/21): Saints Find Way to Win 10th Straight, Kernels Win in Walkoff, Bengard and Matthews Dominate Again
For the Saints, 10 Straight... That's great! For Wichita, it was a Marco Day and a Zebby Day. The Kernels won in a walkoff again. Fort Myers got some absolutely incredible pitching. Maybe we need t have a Bengard Day? The DSL got power from some youngsters to win. The lone loss in the Twins minor leagues was the FCL Twins, and that came in extra innings.
And yes, Matt Wallner homered again!
Dinkelman Named Minor-League Manager of the Year by Baseball America
