I would vote for Trout too, but I'm not sure I can since they Angels won't make the playoffs (again). It's hard not to vote for him when he's been the best player in baseball for two years straight, while Cabrera continues to steal them. So next candidate becomes Robinson Cano, but lo and behold, his team sucks too. It's really a race between Donaldson and Cabrera. I'd vote Donaldson. Not because I hate Cabrera (but I do), but because of the .7 WAR difference and because Oakland>Detroit in wins in a tougher division. Sure they have the Lastros, but the central has the W. Sux/Twins duo. Cleveland and Kansas City don't have anywhere near the talent that the Angels and Rangers have either. Once again though, Cabrera is going to win it. Despite that he wasn't even the best 3B in the AL this season.
